Congratulations to one of our most recent board & train graduates, Letty!
Letty came to us for our 3 Week Board & Train program. Within this program Letty learned all things obedience. Prior to training, Letty was jumping on people, pulling on the leash, and not always coming when called. Letty is now onto a more harmonious life with her recent training. Letty’s owner can now trust her fully off leash, to come when called and be overall more obedient!

For Some owners and dogs nail trims can be a very difficult task to complete, here at Prairie Peak we have multiple ways to help you and your dog have a more pleasurable experience. In our board and trains we create a very strong obedience foundation giving you different commands to help keep your dog under control, in our 4+ week board and trains we can also do muzzle introductions to help you get this task completed.
BUT one other thing we add to this training, is a scratch pad “Paw” command. this can be used in between nail trims and to help keep your pups nails shorter for longer, while we believe a dog needs to tolerate grooming handling if needed there are also some fun ways to work around having to do nail trims as often and to help you get through the desensitization process. The Paw command is a reward based command teaching your dog to essentially file their own nails, when given the command the dog scratches his/her paw on the scratch pad and files their nails down.

Free Lab rescue mix
Layla is a 4 yr old professionally trained lab mix looking for a new home. She just completed our 3 week board and train and is fully on and off leash obedient! We would place Layla into your home for free with the purchase of a 1 hour training session to show you all of her obedience commands.
Our 3 week board and train is normally $2100 and this cost is all being covered by her previous owner!
Layla is a one eyed rescue pup, She previously lived with kids and cats and has done really well but struggled to bond with other dogs thus far. She has also worked on her canine socialization skills throughout her board and train! Layla loves fetch, snuggles, and basking in the sun!

Free Corgi!!!
Rip is a 2 yr old well trained Corgi looking for a home. He is our stud dog that we use for our breeding program. We would place Rip into your home for free and teach you how to use his commands. He would get free boarding and grooming at our kennel and you would also get $100 every time you bring him back to the kennel for his Stud obligations.
An adult trained corgi typically runs $2200 for the dog and $2800 for the training totaling a $5,000 value.

Rip is genetically unique in that most corgis are carriers for DM, VWD, and EIC. All genetic diseases found in Corgis among other dogs as well BUT Rip is genetically “Clear”.
