We are thrilled to welcome Posh How The West Was Won to Cu Merlyn Farm.

“Champ” is sired by the multiple Supreme Champion and 2004 American National Reserve Supreme Champion Sec B stallion, Gayfields The Sleuth LOM, and out of the incredible producer, Gayfields Butterfly Tattoo LOM, AOE, OD, making him triple linebred to Sleight Of Hand.

Sleight Of Hand LOM, AOE, OD sire, was Supreme Champion American National Show 1988, 1991, 1997 and first ever Sire LOM, Award Of Excellence and Order of the Dragon. In fact, he has almost 3x the points of any other B stallion with an astonishing six Orders of the Dragon! His purebred sons and daughters have compiled an imposing 101, 763 points in WPCSA shows. Champ proudly carries this blood forward with his wonderful strong bone, lovely active movement, and his classic head with huge eyes and tiny ears.

Sadly, Champ had a crippling and nearly life ending injury as a weanling. His heart, and the dedicated care of his breeders saw him through. He will never have the show career his siblings have enjoyed but we know his breeding will carry through and we can’t wait to see his foals in the ring. The future is bright!
