Hello🙂 I have someone looking to take in four young kittens!! If you have any or know anyone that has some looking to be rehomed, please contact me. Thank you!!

Harmony injured her leg somehow and has been on bed rest. After a few days of pain meds and anti-inflammatories, she’s feeling much better! At first, we thought she was having a neuro setback, but her neurologist examined her and concluded it was an ortho injury.

Harmony is still available for adoption! She’s all ready to go!

Battle Mountain Nv 11/11
Meet the adorable baby duo, Stanley and Oscar! These little guys are just 3-4 weeks old, learning the art of litter box manners and eagerly chowing down on their formula. Raised as bottle babies, they’ve already built a precious bond and are learning how to play together.

Stanley, the black & white fluff ball, is our “miracle nugget.” He may be the laid-back, chubby one now, but he’s also got a fighting spirit, having bounced back from a near-death experience (thanks to a very dedicated foster!). This snuggly guy’s favorite hobbies include being held & snuggled, lounging, & snacking. He loves watching and starting to join in on his brother’s antics.

Then there's Oscar, the bold orange explorer of the pair! Outgoing, vocal, and full of beans, he’s got a big personality packed into a tiny body. Oscar loves to be held and shares his “thoughts” on everything with adorable meows—he’s a little powerhouse and so proud of it!

If you’re looking for a pair of lovebugs with big hearts and even bigger personalities, Stanley and Oscar are here to fill your life with cuddles, laughs, and kitten cuteness!

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Group

Why TNR Matters for Our Community

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a compassionate, effective approach to managing community cat populations. Instead of allowing feral cat numbers to rise uncontrollably, TNR prevents new litters, reduces nuisance behaviors, and supports healthier colonies—creating a more harmonious relationship between cats and residents in our area.

Key Benefits of TNR for Battle Mountain:

Population Stabilization
By preventing new births, TNR helps keep the feral cat population manageable, reducing the number of kittens born each year.

Fewer Nuisance Behaviors
Neutered cats are less likely to spray, yowl, or fight, which means fewer disturbances for our community.

Healthier Cats, Healthier Community
TNR programs often include vaccinations, protecting both the cats and the community from the spread of diseases.

A Humane Solution
TNR replaces the outdated, inhumane practices of removal and euthanasia with a more ethical, sustainable approach to population control.

Community Involvement
TNR programs empower residents to participate in the care and monitoring of local cat colonies, fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion within the community.

Together, we can support Battle Mountain's community cats while keeping our neighborhoods clean, healthy, and peaceful.

These are just a handful of kittens that were trapped/ rescued, they are being socialized for adoption. Two have been in for emergency vet care & are doing great!! We couldn't have dinner it without the communities support!!

Meet the Sweet Trio: Rudi, Red, and Jolly!

These three beauties have been patiently waiting, hoping for a chance at a loving forever home. They’re not only adorable but super smart too! They quickly learned that “sit pretty” brings treats—and they’ve got that pose down to an art!

Rudi (with a heartwarming red coat) and Jolly (the sleek black beauty) have been here for a while, so they’re extra ready to find their forever family. The lovely collie is super eager to find hers, she gets the zoomies & needs a place to let it out🥰 Each of them has a special spark and an ocean of love to give. All they need now is that special someone or family who’ll welcome them in, share cuddles, and let them finally start a new chapter filled with love and happiness.

Interested in meeting these sweethearts? We promise they’ll steal your heart the moment you meet them! Contact Lander County Animal Control at 775-635-3094 to set up a meet-and-greet.

Stay tuned for more updates soon!
