Dog treats made by students at Bay City Central.

As we get ready for a new school year we have created a list of items that we could use donations for. All items on the list will go into our foods lab at Bay City Central High School and will be used for BCC Bark Biscuits, cooking lessons, and baking club!

We appreciate any support and can’t wait to bake more doggy treats for everyone! 😊

BCC Bark Biscuits started in 2019. We started with selling small amounts of treats to staff to see if there was interest. 5 years later we have had a license with the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture for 2 years, have sold 100’s of bags of treats, had shelf life testing done, and sell our treats in a store. 💛

I wanted to create a project that would teach students life and vocational skills through hands on learning! I am so proud of the progress we have made and can’t wait to see what happens next year! Thank you to all of our supporters! Check out some of our growth over the years! 💜

We had a the perfect day to walk around Frankenmuth today and visit Kernel Benny's Popcorn Frankenmuth!! Kernel Benny’s has been selling our treats and crafty items since November. They treated us to fresh popped kettle corn and ice cream! We are so appreciative of all they do! 💜💛

Today we celebrated the seniors from our classroom. All three have been a huge part in helping with the production and selling of our treats! We will miss you Alyssa, Tommy, and Hunter! So proud of you! 💜💛

Huge thank you to everyone who supported us by purchasing dog treats this year! Students were able to have a fun end of the year field trip to Crazy Quarters Arcade today!! It was the best time!!

As the school year winds down we are baking treats to sell at Kernel Benny's Popcorn Frankenmuth over the summer! ☀️ Treats will be restocked in time for the Frankenmuth Dog Bowl weekend! 🐕

Today we donated 6 bags of treats to Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue at the Board and Brush Fundraiser for Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue! Thank you to the owners of Board and Brush for also letting us sell some treats at the event! 💜💛

Hi all! Unfortunately we have had reports that some of our treats sold in November molded before 3 months. Treats were lab tested and most bags will last longer. We are not sure what happened with the batch that molded but we appreciate everyone letting us know so we can try to correct it in the future. We are student run and may run into mistakes. We appreciate everyone’s understanding. If you ever have issues please let us know. -Mrs. Mulloy

We received our last set of results from the lab. When our treats are stored at room temperature or colder and kept sealed in their packaging they will last 6 months! 🙌

Check out this super cute ornament... it is made by the students at Bay City Central Schools BCC Bark Biscuits I purchased mine already because it is adorable and these students are so proud of their work and excited to have their product in the store.
