We are a small Rattery specializing in silvermane and velveteen dumbos, in standard and dwarf sizes.

A couple more litters! The darker babies are black-eyed Siamese and pointed martens out of Banana X Caramel, and the litter with white are out of Benjamin X Jersey (dwarf line).

Jersey has not yet been posted here, but will not be bred again. I think her litter will be the last of my high-white dwarf babies for now.

I will have dwarfs again, but they will be in my black-eyed c-locus line, possibly the Harley line, and a separate black/beige/russian blue line that will be mixed Rex/velveteen until I sort them out.

I have a little bit of organizing to do, and will be rehoming a handful of retired breeder females soon!

Spud had her babies on the 29th, and there might be some harleys/harvels! I’m not sure if they will be available, but there are a few of you on my waitlist that specifically wanted harleys, so I will keep you all updated!

Spud is the sweetest girl just like her momma Moxie, and just wants to give me loves while I check on her babies. I may just have to keep them all 🤣

This is just over half of the babies that we have right now! Four litters born the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th.

All of the moms will also be retiring after these litters, so a few of these babies will definitely be staying here!

This is the tiniest two-week-old baby I’ve ever seen, next to a littermate. I don’t believe he’s a failure to thrive (FTT babies don’t usually live long), but just a really tiny runt.

I should also add that his size does not necessarily mean he’s a dwarf. Dwarfs are the same size as their siblings until about 3-4 weeks old, when the dwarfs’ growth rate starts to slow down.

I think he’ll stay here, assuming he makes it. Not for breeding, of course, but because he’s special 🥰

This litter should have some dwarfs, and will be available to reserve in about four weeks for those of you on the waitlist ❤️

Sweet Moxie just had this beautiful litter!

I don’t know what I was thinking, hoping for albinos 😅 Demon carries albino but Moxie carries Siamese. So we might get some Himalayans here. Not albino 😂

She’s the sweetest girl ever and Demon is a very good boy, so I will definitely be keeping a boy from this litter since it will be her last!

More mice!

I just took a peak at the chocolate breeders, and we have two chocolate pieds! A male and a female! 😍🍫

My first real pet was a chocolate lab, so chocolate is my absolute favorite color in any animal. These guys make me so happy! ❤️

We have more babies, and more on the way!
The big litter is from Benjamin and Marble, and there should be dwarfs with lots of white!

The small litter is from Banana and Praline, and will be a mix of Siamese and martens!

The furry ones are Tapioca’s and Quartz’s babies (Benjamin is the father to both), and should also have dwarfs in the mix 🥰

We’re still waiting on a few more girls to have their beans, but I’m so excited to get to watch these babies grow over winter break 😁
On another note, most of you are aware that I’ve always adopted out babies at 6 weeks old. I’m now going to be making them available to reserve starting at 6 weeks, and they will be ready to leave here at 8 weeks old.

Many other breeders have recommended to wait the extra two weeks to allow them to mature. We are still growing and learning here, and will continue to make any necessary changes as we learn more!

These girls were paired with Demon today. We should get a variety of colors and coat types if everything works out here, but I’m really hoping for black eyed albinos (with perfect temperaments of course)! 😁

Our double velveteen girl, Tapioca, had six healthy beans today! What a thing to be grateful for!

Quartz is the only other girl that really looks pregnant, so we’ll be watching for her babies next. ❤️

I’d also like to announce that we will be at the Central Michigan Reptile Expo in Birch Run on November 26th with a few boys that are looking for homes. Some of them were returned to me from a previous adopter at no fault of their own, and are so sweet!

This week’s forecast 🌤️

We’re expecting lots of little ratty beans soon, with a 50% chance of dwarfs! At least four litters should have dwarf babies, from our high-white black and blue velveteen dwarf line! 🥰

We will not be able to tell which babies are dwarfs until they are about 4 weeks old, since they are all the same size until then, and the dwarfs’ growth rates start to slow down.

Pictures are babies from previous litters. The last picture is the sire, our dwarf Benjamin, as a tiny baby 😭❤️

We have lots of African soft furred babies that will be ready to go in the near future if anyone is interested!

These are not compatible companions to fancy rats. A rat would attack one of these guys unfortunately. They can get along with mice though, and will even raise baby mice as their own!

I will be breeding these guys mainly as feeders, but the parents are pet quality and actually very easy to handle. And we’ve got some cute little fuzz butts here, so it will be very hard to not get attached 😅🥰

Meet Banana 🍌
He was born on national banana lovers day!

Banana is a black-eyed marten silvermane velveteen. He is being paired with three velveteen girls for some more black-eyed martens and black-eyed Siamese!

We’ve also paired Demon and Moxie for some very sweet Russian blue based babies 🥰

Introducing four more girls!

These girls were all born here and are ready to breed. Tapioca, Marble, and Quartz are being paired with Benjamin for (hopefully) some dwarf babies soon! Maraschino will be paired with one of our younger boys once he’s ready to breed, in hopes for some black eyed Siamese babies.
