If you have fish you’re not going to use after Tip Up Town, the A.R.K. Association to Rescue Kritters will gladly take them. We have several animals that love fish, especially the eagles.

Please call the A.R.K. at 989 389 3305 to make arrangements to drop them off.

From broken wings to broken bones, paws caught in traps, eye infections, cat bites, animal attacks,, frostbites, dehydrated, head injuries, orphaned, and the list goes on and on for what we admit and care for. Some years it seems there are more of one species than in previous years. This year was the Bobcat.

The latest came in with an injury to the hip area, probably caused after being struck by a car. We sent him downstate by way of an another rehabber, whose veterinarian would evaluate the injury. The young male bobcat had a fractured femur. The vet performed surgery, of the opinion that it would be successful and it could eventually be returned to the wild, given proper care, time and rest.

Any donation you make, large or small, will help us pay for the care of this young one, the ones at the A.R.K. and others who will make their way to our facility.
