🌟 Rescue Update: 9 Abandoned Cats Saved 🌟

On Tuesday, HSBC received a call about 9 abandoned cats left in life threatening conditions. A mom with her 4 newborn kittens, another mom with her two 6-week-old kittens, and a male cat—presumed to be the father—were found covered in urine and left to endure freezing temperatures. 💔

Thanks to the quick action of a compassionate pet hero who contacted HSBC, all 9 cats are now safe, warm, and comfortable this morning. 🐾💖

Providing medical care, food, and shelter for these cats—and so many others—requires significant resources.

💌 Can you help us give them the care they deserve? Your donation today can make a huge difference in their lives and ensure they get the second chance they so desperately need.

➡️ Donate now: https://humanesocietybaycounty.networkforgood.com/projects/189991-everyday-giving

Even if you’re unable to donate today, please help us by sharing this post to spread awareness about the importance of preventing animal abandonment. Together, we can be the voice for the voiceless. 🐱❤️

The situation has been reported to animal control.

Thank you for your support! 🙏

🐾🎩 Happy National Dress Up Your Pet Day! 🎀🐶

Today’s the purr-fect day to let your furry friends strut their stuff in style! Whether it’s a bowtie, sweater, costume, or just a cute bandana, we love seeing pets dressed up and showing off their personalities.

📸 Share your pet’s outfit of the day! Post a photo in the comments and let us admire their adorable fashion sense. Who knows, your pet might inspire someone else’s wardrobe!

Reminder: Always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety when dressing them up. If they’re not a fan of outfits, a simple accessory or a big smile is just as stylish.

Let’s celebrate the pets who make our lives brighter—and cuter! ❤️🐕🐈

🐾 Meet New Dawn, Rally and Regenesis 🐾

On December 18, 2024, these three sweet souls were surrendered to HSBC due to their owner’s health struggles.

When they arrived, all three were covered in fleas and flea dirt. New Dawn had it the worst, with red, inflamed skin, scratches all over her body, significant hair loss, and dry patches. Rally also had some hair loss but is healing well.

✨ Good news! Rally and New Dawn are healthy, happy, and ready for adoption in our cattery. Their skin is slowly healing, and their fur is beginning to grow back nicely. They're eager to find a loving home where they can thrive!

Regenesis is scheduled for her spay and updated vetting on January 17, 2025. She’ll be available for adoption shortly after.

If you’re looking to add a bundle of love to your family, please come meet Rally and New Dawn in our cattery, and keep an eye out for Regenesis soon! These resilient cats deserve a fresh start and a forever home. ❤️

📍 Visit us at 1607 Marquette Ave. Bay City, MI to meet them!

🐾 Help Us Give Cats a Second Chance 🖤🐾

In the summer of 2024, we received an urgent call from a family whose loved one had passed away, leaving nine beloved cats with no home and nowhere to go. Due to local coyotes, it was unsafe to leave these cats outdoors, and some had already suffered bite wounds. Adding to the challenge, two of the cats were pregnant, and most had not been spayed or neutered.

Without hesitation, HSBC stepped in. While some of these cats were too feral to become house pets, they were given new lives through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program and were placed in caring barn homes where they’d be safe and looked after. The two mama cats safely delivered their kittens, and everyone was adopted into loving families. The friendlier adult cats found their forever homes through our Cattery, all thanks to your support.

Please consider making a donation to help us continue saving lives and offering second chances to cats like these. With our costs significantly rising per cat, every dollar makes a difference. Your generosity keeps us going!!!💕🐾 We’ll be sharing more stories this season to show just how much your support impacts the lives of animals in need.

Thank you for being part of our mission! 💖
