🐾 Help Us Give Cats a Second Chance 🖤🐾
In the summer of 2024, we received an urgent call from a family whose loved one had passed away, leaving nine beloved cats with no home and nowhere to go. Due to local coyotes, it was unsafe to leave these cats outdoors, and some had already suffered bite wounds. Adding to the challenge, two of the cats were pregnant, and most had not been spayed or neutered.
Without hesitation, HSBC stepped in. While some of these cats were too feral to become house pets, they were given new lives through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program and were placed in caring barn homes where they’d be safe and looked after. The two mama cats safely delivered their kittens, and everyone was adopted into loving families. The friendlier adult cats found their forever homes through our Cattery, all thanks to your support.

✨ Meet Rhaegal! ✨
On October 5, one of our incredible HSBC volunteers found this little fighter laying in the middle of the road. At just 2.5 weeks old and weighing only 5 ounces, Rhaegal hadn’t even grown his teeth yet. 💔
But this determined little guy surprised us all—he refused the bottle and went straight to eating mush like a champ! 🐾
Thanks to lots of love, care, and attention, Rhaegal is now thriving at an impressive 2.3 lbs! 🐾💪
