To mitigate the impact of frequent no-show appointments and last-minute cancellations, professional service providers have implemented policies that include fees for such instances. This policy adjustment is essential due to the high incidence of no-shows and inadequate communication, which poses significant risks to small businesses. We prioritize our clients' time and expect reciprocal consideration. Acknowledging that emergencies arise, timely communication is required. Widespread disregard for scheduled appointments necessitates cancellation policies across various professional services, such as our chiropractor and dentist who charge $35 and $50, respectively, for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
