Just wanted to let you know that I installed the Insulated dog door and it has made a world of difference. Our other door worked great (used a sensor on the dog collar to unlock the door) but it was almost like having a window open, especially noticeable when the cold weather appeared. We had installed it during the summer. Even with a heater on the opposite wall, about six feet away the area was still cold even when the door was closed. With the RANGER door installed it was like the wall was still insulated with 3 1/2 inches of fiberglass insulation. Only took the dogs a couple of days to adjust to the new door. The previous door had a clear flap and this one has a white flap. Only sad that we didn't find the RANGER door first, but definitely glad we did find it. Thanks for making a great product

I needed a couple dog doors for my new home. I have had Many dog doors. The price of the doors was way over what I even came close to paying....but I took a chance. So glad I did! What a Quality dog door...Wow! Does not even compare to the ones I've had! These doors are insulated...I Love Them!!

We installed this dog door in a door to our back yard. The door is north facing and receives the brunt of the wind and snow each year. From inside, you would never know it's cold out. This door is like magic. The dog LOVES it, and will often run in and out like an idiot, at full speed to get the 'jump' on the back yard squirrels. Even with this abuse (large shepherd breed), the door is standing up like its brand new. I'm so impressed. I wish more things were built with this quality and if I ever move, this is be the first upgrade I make to my new house, it's THAT good. 6 stars. 100% recommend.

"Our two cats and one dog have been using a Freedom Pet Pass, they all learnt to use it straight away although they did already use a traditional cat flap so that may have helped. This design is simply the best we have seen, there is zero draught even in a storm and it still performs exactly as it did when we installed it 11 YEARS ago! Very functional, 100% effective and durable too. Expensive compared to alternatives but in our experience worth every penny. Thanks for such a great product."

After alot of research, I went with their door. I'm NOT regretting it. Excellent customer service and product arrived on time. The door and flaps are high quality and sturdy. Door in door installation was easy. Just watch the install videos. I live in Idaho and the door seals very well, to keep the cold winter air out. Far better than I expected. Beats Home Depot Door for Alaskan Winter

I cannot tell you how amazing your product has been working for us, the day that the door came to us in the mail our cold snap got even colder and the temps dipped down to -55 and the Home Depot dog door we had installed broke. The dual plastic flaps that made up its “seal” snapped from the cold, if not for you guys and shipping the door to us as fast as you did we would have been in some serious trouble. Our hot water tank boiler and water lines all are located in our garage where the faulty dog door is located, upon installation of your door our garage has been able to maintain its temperature with ease and gave us piece of mind for when we leave on our trip this Friday thank you so much again for your awesome customer service and outstanding product!!

We just ordered a replacement flap and seal. I think the door has been in around 12 years.

We live in KS where it gets chilly in the winter and the wind blows. This door has held up great with two dogs in and out.

I’ve tried other doors before I found this one but this one is exceptional. It is definitely worth the cost. You folks make a great product!

I’ve had your dog door for around 10 years and had zero issues. While remodeling I actually seen the brand name as I had literally forgotten it. You know you have something awesome when you simply forget all about it for a decade.

I live on open prairie NE of Calgary, with a west facing door. There are wind turbines in our area if you didn’t know ‘windy’ is normal here. I’m sure we spent thousands in wasted energy with ‘normal’ dog doors, and had to replace flaps a few times. I essentially built an air-lock porch area so we wouldn’t freeze the house or our dogs.

We have 6 dogs at the moment and I’d guess there’s been 15 or so dogs that have used the dog door over the years. Essentially we’re a dog door testing facility, lol.

Long story short your product is nothing short of genius and built to last. I don’t see any signs the door won’t last another decade, it’s astounding really. Also astounding is that they still make other dog doors, and yours aren’t on the shelves of every store that sells them. I’m sure most people think a ‘normal’ dog door is fine, until they buy one and end up looking online for something better. Or they live in places where you don’t even need a furnace.

I almost never write reviews unless I think the product or service is above and beyond satisfactory. Without a doubt your dog door deserves my praise and gratitude.
