It is with extremely heavy hearts here on the farm today that I share our family member Chet has lost his father. Thankfully Mark past away peacefully in his sleep during the night.

Vicki and I have been able to spend a bit of time with che t and Michael today to support him during this time. Chet has been apart of Unbridled Hope for about 10 years. Starting at a young kid he helped with the horses and chores. As Chet’s time continued he observed many sessions and began having his own. He truly has helped so many individuals during his time here. Chet really is family to us. So it’s been a difficult day to say the least.

He and his family have started Mark’s fire and fire tenders are present. Family and close friends have been coming by throughout the day to offer to***co and their respects.

Family and friends have also generously offered wood donations, food, and more. However, if anyone here from The Unbridled Hope family would like to give a condolence card or make a donation of any kind please do. I know Chet and his family would love support during this time of all kinds. You may deliver things to the Unbridled Office or contact Megan at 612-518-9557.

Had too share

A lady worked at a meat distribution factory.
One day, when she finished with her work
schedule, she went into the meat cold room
(Freezer) to inspect something, but in a
moment of misfortune, the door closed and
she was locked inside with no help in sight.

Although she screamed and knocked with
all her might, her cries went unheard as no
one could hear her. Most of the workers had
already gone, and outside the cold room it's
impossible to hear what was going on
inside.

Five hours later, whilst she was at the verge
of death, the security guard of the factory
eventually opened the door.
She was miraculously saved from dying that
day.

When she later asked the security guard
how he had come to open the door, which
wasn't his usual work routine.

His explanation: "I've been working in this
factory for 35 years, hundreds of workers
come in and out every day, but you're one of
the few who greet me in the morning and
say goodbye to me every night when leaving
after work. Many treat me as if I'm invisible.
Today, as you reported for work, like all
other days, you greeted me in your simple
manner 'Hello'. But this evening after
working hours, I curiously observed that I
had not heard your "Bye, see you
tomorrow".

Hence, I decided to check around the
factory. I look forward to your 'hi' and 'bye'
every day because they remind me that I am
someone.

By not hearing your farewell today, I knew
something had happened. That's why I was
searching every where for you."

Be humble, love and respect those around
you. Try to have an impact on people who
cross your path every day, you never know
what tomorrow will bring..
Stay Blessed.

Or a worker, assistant, care giver, friend etc but rather hear what they have to say by their own experience, let it keep you safe when it should but form your own opinions, insights, and/or conclusions or diagnosis. For individual’s act, behave, and comfort levels show differently depending on how they feel. It’s the accumulative effort that provides the insight to the growth and well being. Here is a good current read on the love for Ericsson’s Orchard if you don’t already know

Here is a good current read on the love for Ericsson’s Orchard if you don’t already know

Did you know a flat tire can spark an idea that’s celebrated 61 years later? I don’t think anyone could have known, but we’re sure glad it did.

The story goes a little like this.

In 1961, Jim Erickson of Erickson Orchard was carrying a load of apples 🍎 to sell in North Dakota. But when his tire went flat in Duluth, he had to call his brother to bring him a spare. While he was waiting, people started surrounding him asking to buy his apples.

This sparked an idea 💡 of creating an event to draw people to Bayfield so Jim and other farmers could sell their apples.

The Bayfield Apple Festival is now the biggest event in Bayfield. People come from all around the world to visit the orchards, eat good food, and listen to live music. 🎶

But for others, this celebration can be a little overwhelming, and they prefer a quieter Bayfield getaway.

This week’s blog helps guide those of you who wish to experience the magic of fall in Bayfield AFTER the crowds have died down.

Happy fall everyone!!! We are eagerly waiting the news from all our participants who had “1st Days” this week. There are so many milestone for so many, especially the ones going into High School and our Seniors. We hope your 1st Day went well.

With all that excitement we would just like to send a friendly reminder. We have the cold, flu, RSV, and Covid around. Please remember we do have quite a few folks that have extreme difficulty with any of those sicknesses. So please be aware and let us know if anyone is sick. Things pass quickly. One person sick here means it could affect at least 27 families and all of the staff’s families. That’s a lot of folks.

We love seeing you all every week and hate to ever have to cancel for any reason, but we do need to keep the safety of everyone here in mind.

Thank you all for your understandings on this. See you all soon!

We saw this little girl at the Mid-West Horse Show. What an amazing little being. You see, the work we do everyday is to spread care, love and respect all. No matter who you are, where you came from, or what you’re dealing with. It is the love, care, and respect for yourself that will help you to heal. To be Unbridled and find your way. May love touch your heart today and the ones you care and love.

I must admit I have never heard of the term, but I believe in its existence. Good to know it got a name! There're too much triggers going around people's life, and glimmers are so overlooked because they are quiet and subtle. But they are so important. Let's talk more about Glimmers. Let's make it a thing.✨❤✨ ~ Gloria* Allure x Alchemy
