Update on the council meeting last night-!
A few of us attended and I spoke on the issue of the dissapearance of the Bayonne Dock Cats. The reason we went is because the city of Bayonne claims they have nothing to do with this and that this a Port Authority issue. It is now on record that this colony was indeed registered with Bayonne and whether they keep accurate records or follow the Bayonne TNR ordinance is not on anyone but the city. I mentioned that a lot of towns in NJ have Animal services ranging from TNR programs, and rescue to emergency Services. This is not out of the ordinary for towns and cities to carve out a budget for this. I mentioned that there are a lot of newcomers in Bayonne and that a lot of animal lovers will be paying attention to what the city does. The head of the health dept stated that the city cares about animals but I beg to differ. These cats didn’t deserve to be trapped and meet their end. It all points to that. Bayonne Dry Dock we are looking at you to admit to what you did. City of Bayonne receives tax money from Bayonne Dry Dock yet the Bayonne Dry Dock seems to be able to violate animal cruelty laws without consequences. Please keep reposting and supporting. We need Bayonne to step up when it comes to animals. Please email [email protected] to join our member list. We need everyone to sign up! Thank you.

For all the Bayonne people: Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation we plan to attend the city council meeting tomorrow May 15th 6 pm. I will speak on the lack of care for the 37 cats that were trapped and mysteriously disappeared and another important item on the agenda is the Modernization of the Open Public Records Act. If people don’t start attending and really pressuring those at city hall Bayonne will continue it’s cliquish secretive ways. It will get worse. Please encourage people to go. We can’t just post we have to be seen. 👊🏻💪🏽

Trapped two cats today! Thanks Nina Matias and others for donations you made it possible! They will snipped tomorrow!

Hello!! We have rescued this kitty from the cold where there are about 8-10 more cats. We are working with to get the rest trapped and fixed which can be costly. If anyone would like to see our progress please follow and send a donation to PayPal or Venmo! We would appreciate the help since the city of bayonne does very little to help! ❤️

Our local organization, the Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation rescues cats and helps locals needs and they really need our help! Please follow on instagram. There will be posts on fundraising to gain traction in Bayonne. I will be post on my updates and videos so that people see what we do to help these cats and reduce the population is strays. There’s a lot of need, not only for feral cats, but also for local individuals that rescue cats and either can’t get help or can’t afford vet bills. We are trying to do a collective effort to raise funds so that the burden isn’t so heavy on a few. The city of Bayonne does very little to help. Thank you!!please share so that we can get more followers on instagram.

PayPal- donations accepted at Bayonne Feral cat foundation
