This has been an excellent week for adoptions.

Honey was adopted last Wednesday and her family is in love with her already. She's such a sweet soul.

Puddy Tat and Spitfire were adopted together. These two have been with each other from the beginning. They will keep each other busy in their new home.

Raven was adopted today. She wasn't quite happy to get into the carrier, but once she's relaxed in her new home, she will blossom.

Rusty was adopted today by this family who had recently adopted another kitten from the rescue. So he will have a feline brother to play with. Hope they return for a 3rd.

Miko was adopted by one of our rescue volunteers. He wasn't having it getting his picture taken. But, later at his new home, he settled right in and had a ball. He will have a lab dog to be friends with.

Mona has been in our rescue a long time and was so timid that we weren't sure that she would ever be adoptable.

But, a wonderful foster and her son agreed to foster her. They gave her the time and love that she needed to become the cat that she really was.

The most wonderful part of this is that they adopted her today.

Mona has found her furever home where she will be loved and cared for.

The adoption event yesterday at Petsmart knocked it out of the park.

There was 1 planned adoption, but, it ended up with 3 additional ones.

It warms our hearts to have our fosters find their own loving homes.

This is why we pour out our hearts and time into caring for these sweet babies. Adoptions make it all worth it.

Tucker, Yordan, Snowball, and Bunny Butt all now have their own families to love and care for them.

Stop by Petco from 11 am - 3 pm

Free pictures with Santa are being made at Petsmart from 2.pm - 6 pm, so bring your fur babies to get their special pictures made.

While there you can see more babies that would like to go home with you.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), is a serious and often fatal disease. Treatment consists of 84 days of either painful injections, pills, or oral meds.

The bright aspects are that FIP isn't contagious, and, if caught in time, is curable.

Devoted to Pets Rescue is currently treating 2 cats with FIP.

Whiskey is a 7-1/2 month old female kitten taken in on 8/21/2024. Wet FIP was diagnosed 9/16/2024. She started with injections, then switched to pills. Her final treatment is scheduled for 12/9/2024.

Her favorite food is Fancy Feast Broth packages. She is very picky about what she eats, but is close to 7 # now.

The better she gets to feeling, the livelier she gets.

Her treatment costs are over #1467. There will be additional costs with meds and bloodwork.

Yin-Yang is a 9 month old female kitten. She was adopted 8/3/2024, but was returned soon after when she became sick. On 10/23/2024 she was diagnosed with dry, ocular FIP and started treatment that very day with injections, which she fought every step of the way. She refused pills, but finally tolerated the oral meds on her 25th treatment day.

Her final treatment is scheduled for 1/14/2024.

Her favorite food is Hartz Delectibles tubes or the bisque packages. She weighed less then 5 # at the start and now weighs close to 7 #

Since she feels better she has also gotten very playful and loving.

Her treatment costs are over $1600. She will have additional costs with bloodwork, eye specialist visits, and oral meds.

Whiskey and Yin-Yang would be so grateful for any donation made towards their care. They have a great chance to be cured. Without the treatment, they have no chance!!

Ash and his 3 siblings were left in a basket inside Petsmart a couple months ago.

1 got adopted that day by one of our volunteers and the other 3 were taken into the rescue.

Ash found his furever today and will have his own loving mom and dad. He has a cool new bed to hide out in and bunches of toys to play with.
