Soul was just adopted and has made herself right at home with her canine siblings.

Between yesterday and today we had 3 adoptions - Donny, Soul, and Freya.

They now have their own families to love them.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), is a serious and often fatal disease. Treatment consists of 84 days of either painful injections, pills, or oral meds.

The bright aspects are that FIP isn't contagious, and, if caught in time, is curable.

Devoted to Pets Rescue is currently treating 2 cats with FIP.

Whiskey is a 7-1/2 month old female kitten taken in on 8/21/2024. Wet FIP was diagnosed 9/16/2024. She started with injections, then switched to pills. Her final treatment is scheduled for 12/9/2024.

Her favorite food is Fancy Feast Broth packages. She is very picky about what she eats, but is close to 7 # now.

The better she gets to feeling, the livelier she gets.

Her treatment costs are over #1467. There will be additional costs with meds and bloodwork.

Yin-Yang is a 9 month old female kitten. She was adopted 8/3/2024, but was returned soon after when she became sick. On 10/23/2024 she was diagnosed with dry, ocular FIP and started treatment that very day with injections, which she fought every step of the way. She refused pills, but finally tolerated the oral meds on her 25th treatment day.

Her final treatment is scheduled for 1/14/2024.

Her favorite food is Hartz Delectibles tubes or the bisque packages. She weighed less then 5 # at the start and now weighs close to 7 #

Since she feels better she has also gotten very playful and loving.

Her treatment costs are over $1600. She will have additional costs with bloodwork, eye specialist visits, and oral meds.

Whiskey and Yin-Yang would be so grateful for any donation made towards their care. They have a great chance to be cured. Without the treatment, they have no chance!!

Sweet Blade was adopted today.

She now has 3 precious little sisters who are in love with her already.

Ash and his 3 siblings were left in a basket inside Petsmart a couple months ago.

1 got adopted that day by one of our volunteers and the other 3 were taken into the rescue.

Ash found his furever today and will have his own loving mom and dad. He has a cool new bed to hide out in and bunches of toys to play with.

Violet was adopted 11/5/2024.

She has also made herself at home with her new mom.

And she loves to sleep with her.

We love to see this type of transition by our adopted fosters.

Creamsicle found his furever home today. He was an Owner Surrender through no fault of his own.

Buddy Boy found his forever home today. He has already made himself at home in his nice, big yard. He wasted no time.

Little Grace was also adopted today. She will have a dog brother to keep her company along with the kids.

Hi there, I'm Pepper!

I'm a kitten full of energy and curiosity. My days are filled with exploring every nook and cranny, chasing imaginary mice, and figuring out how things work. I'm pretty smart, you see. I can fetch toys all on my own. But, don't worry, I'm not all business. I love to play, pounce, and purr. I'm independent, but I do enjoy human company after I learn to trust you. You have to give me plenty of time though to trust you.

I also have calicivirus like my mother Scarlet, so I have to be the only cat or with another cat that also has calicivirus.

Feline calicivirus is a highly contagious virus between cats that causes a mild to severe respiratory infection and oral disease in cats. Most cats recover completely after a calicivirus infection.
