Chanel found her furever home yesterday. She's the sweetest little girl.

Her nickname was Diva. Doesn't she look like one? And she was always so neat and mess free.

Remember all those mama cats and kittens that were dumped at Petsmart in a 48" wire dog kennel?

Well today Hugo, who was 1 of the newborn kittens, was adopted today.

He now has his own family to love him plus a feline sibling as well.

Yin-Yang finally got the all clear from the eye specialist after both of her eyes were removed. Poor thing she hasn't caught a break in over a year. First she had treatment for FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis then developed glaucoma which made her go blind.

She is off all meds and starting to adjust to a regular life.

Her expenses were over $6500.

This raffle will help recover some of those costs.

One raffle basket contains a James Avery necklace and matching earrings and a Brighton travel jewelry box.

The other raffle basket contains a ceramic teapot, teabag holder with a variety of flavored teas, and a pair of socks.

Each ticket is $10.00 and the drawing will be held 12/6/2025.

Come get your tickets this Saturday at either Petco or Petsmart from 11 am - 3 pm.

Cash is preferred, but at Petco either cash, cash app, or venmo is accepted.

Abigail and Whiskey were recently adopted by their fosters. Their fosters fell in love with these 2 girls and wanted to keep them furever.

Whiskey had a rough start in life as she was treated for FIP. It was a long and expensive haul for her. But, she beat it and is doing well.

Abigail was rescued from a local apartment complex with kittens.

Yin-Yang recently recovered from FIP, then had to have both eyes removed .

She will be up for adoption soon.

Over $6400 has been spent on her illness, so a raffle is being held to recoup some of her expenses.

We have 2 baskets:

One is for a James Avery necklace and earrings and a Brighton jewelry travel box. Apprx value $375.

The second includes a ceramic teapot, teabags and holder, and socks. Apprx value $160.

Each raffle ticket is $10 with the drawing on 12/6.

Stop by Petco today and buy a ticket or two.

Next week is Petsmart National Adoption Week from 10/20 - 10/26.

Our rescue will be having events at the Baytown Store:

Tuesday, 10/21 from 4 pm - 7 pm

Friday, 10/24 from 4 pm - 7 pm

Saturday, 10/25 from 11 am - 3 pm

Hope to see you there. We have a variety of kittens and cats and a couple of dogs that are waiting to find their furever homes.

Marshmallow was recently adopted. She's a sweet girl, but had lived with her foster over a year, so we weren't sure how she would do.

So far she's coming out and adjusting really well. It appears that she's making herself right at home and making friends with the other 4 legged residents also.

Yin-Yang is still recovering from her eye removals. She has had to have minor procedures to remove stitches that weren't dissolving. The stitch irritation kept her eyes from healing.

Keep your fingers crossed that her eyes will complete the healing process this time. She has 2 weeks of Clavamox to take as well.

This is her first real outing outside of her room. She walked around then hopped up on the couch and made herself at home. She's listening to the TV even though she can't see.

She's a total lovebug and is a real snuggler at night. She maneuvers her 5 foot tower, and finds her litter box and food.

Eventually she will be up for adoption.

She's a special cat and needs a special family!

Another great adoption day.

Bumblebee, a young timer, found her family today. Such a cutie!

Marshmallow, who has been in foster care quite awhile also found her family as well. She will be missed, but the goal is to guide them to their own homes.
