We need your HELP! Officer Underwood stopped by today with a healthy, beautiful, sweet, well behaved female dog that was found with a leash and collar on near Davies South Terrace in Beacon NY. This week is National Veterinary Technician’s Week and all of us at Beacon Veterinary Associates would like to take a moment to recognize the contributions of our Technicians. Vet Techs are vital to the day-to-day operations of our hospital, working in the operating room, dental suite, exam rooms, and our lab. Their technical and scientific knowledge, as well as their compassionate care, help our doctors focus on diagnosing and treating our patients. A great big THANK YOU to our Technicians, and our entire team, for all they do everyday! Your hard work is seen and appreciated!!

This is Charlie, an 18 week old Abyssinian kitten. Isn’t he handsome? 😍 Abyssinian cats have a distinctive ‘ticked’ tabby coat in which individual hairs are banded with different colors. They originated in Abyssinia (now known as Ethiopia); hence the name.
