Our Dear Clients,

Today I received notice that an “anonymous” complaint was called in regarding our business operating on a residentially zoned property.

By no false intentions, our original business license suited its purpose when we first opened, but have since grown into an operation deemed inappropriate for our property.

Unfortunately this means we must close our books and will not be taking any future boarding clients at this time. If you currently have a reservation with us, please do not worry. We have a timeline on which we will be ceasing operations and my sweet friend Jordan, owner of MusselMutts, LLC Pet Care and Farm Sitting has offered to help us out in this transition.

I’ve had big goals for our small business and this set back won’t stop that- it’s just lit the fire underneath me. So thank YOU to the concerned anonymous report for helping me make this jump sooner than planned.

Stay tuned. Nothing can keep me from loving your pets, just like our own 💓

At MusselMutts, our mission has always been to provide the highest level of care, love, and attention to your pets, ensuring they receive the best experience while they’re with us. We are deeply grateful for your trust and support over the years.

As you may be aware, the cost of living has been steadily rising, and this has also impacted the expenses associated with providing the exceptional care and services that your pets deserve. In light of these changes and the growing demand for our services, we will be implementing a price adjustment for new clients.

Effective immediately, the rates for our pet boarding, dog walking, and farm sitting services will increase for all new clients. Rest assured, this adjustment is necessary to continue delivering the high standards of care and to keep up with the rising costs while maintaining the quality you’ve come to expect from us.

** For our current clients, please know that there will be no changes to your existing rates. We are committed to honoring our current pricing for you and your cherished pets as a token of our appreciation for your ongoing loyalty. (With the exception of major holidays) **

CHECK IN VISITS! About Cheryl’s experience: I own 1 dog, 1 cat, 2 parrots, 1 hedgehog, fish, ducks and chickens. I have house sat/watched friends and family’s dogs, cats, cows, donkeys, goats, fish, and chickens. I also work at Hope and Serenity Farm Sanctuary watering, feeding and dispensing medicine for horses and donkeys. Book her while you can!!

*Fauquier County* Our full summer is now on a wait/cancellation list for all new clients (very limited availability for existing clients as well)! We are so blessed to have the trust of so many loyal and loving pet owners. Please note, Shannon (in Prince William county) still has availability and this only applies to boarding services, we are still taking drop in, limited house sitting and farm sitting clients.
