Service Dogs, training, and certification! Do you need a service dog? Do you know a someone who does? Then don’t miss this opportunity !
This offer is local to the DMV area only. As always, we have held back a few of our amazing puppies from our last and final litter of English cream goldens to Provide our Veterans with the best possible option for a service dog. This Service dog package is donated by America’s K-9 Caring Angels and NO COST to our veterans ( $18,000.00- $20,000.00 Value)
As you know we specialize in Psychiatric Service Dogs. These dogs are not pets, they will be trained to adhere to our service dog guidelines and will need 360 hours of training. These dogs are medically necessary are trained to recognize and alert for issues such as deep pressure therapy- tactile stimulation- medication reminders- retrieve medication- grounding- Interrupt dissociation- Interrupt harmful behaviors- room search - balance assistance- Interrupt repetitive behaviors- mobility assistance- night terror alert- calming …just to name a few.
Here are the rules-
The applicant must be nominated via video. ( Please remember to get permission from the veteran )
We ask that you or someone you know create a video showing us why you feel this person is deserving of a puppy and free service dog training and certification. Video should be respectful and in good taste.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT VIDEOS IS Jan 15
Veterans who receive the most points wins. Points are counted as follows.
FB Like= 1 vote, FB Comment= 1 vote, FB Share= 1 vote,( *sharing is not a requirement but greatly increase their chance of winning )
-One person can give up to 3 points.
- Multiple comments from the same person will only count as 1 vote
-Be sure to participate on their ORIGINAL video for it to count. We will not see comments or likes on your personal page, and those will not count towards their votes.

- You CAN vote for more than one veteran. 1st -2nd-3rd-….

*Once a veteran has been chosen, in order to receive their dog and training package they must be able to complete all paperwork required by America’s K-9 Caring angels and provide supporting documentation , Military -ID-DD214 ( proof of discharge from military) and medical documentation from a medical professional stating that a service dog is in their best interest and why.
Must be able to claim their dog within 10 days.
* Veterans must live in the DMV area.
*They must commit to attend regular training classes, at least 3 times a month for a year.
*Veterans must be financially able to provide for their dog , maintain veterinary requirements, food, , flea and tick etc.
*They must be able to have a dog in their current living situation
*Provide a safe environment.
* No other dogs in the home.

Once we have chosen the winners and the paperwork has been completed and are committed to the training program and schedules, they will begin an amazing journey with their well-deserved four-legged service dog, and they will have you to thank!

**Two of K9 Caring Angels’ service dogs are in the calendar!! Penelope is Miss May, and Taz is Miss September. Additionally, all pups featured are paired with first responders and/or veterans.

MEG’s 2025 Service Dog Calendars are $25 each, or $30 if shipping is required. If you order more than 2 calendars and need shipping, only add $10 total.

Making Everything Good, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides a variety of programs to support first responders, veterans, and their families. All proceeds from the calendar fundraiser will directly fund these important initiatives.

Ms. Cat finally got to meet one of her heroes! Jennifer is the southeast manager with Fromm Family Foods and Fromm supports the CFD Therapy K9 Program with thousands of dollars in food donations to feed our pups!

Our whole program runs on donations, and always has, all the way back to when Lady Katherine was donated by America's K-9 Caring Angels Dog Training!

Dear friends, I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for prayers for our beloved Samone Puffenbarger. Samone is a great friend, trusted confidant and former lead trainer who many of you know and was the first trainer to join our team over 10 years ago. Today, she is facing the challenges of a stroke, and we know how strong and resilient she is, but she needs all of our support right now.

Please keep Samone, her family, and all those who are caring for her in your thoughts and prayers. We are hoping for a swift recovery and sending her all the strength she needs during this difficult time. 🙏❤️
