Talus's Travels

Talus's Travels Rejected by his mom at birth, Talus was given a second chance at life by his human parents. Now he's taking that second chance to give back to everyone.

Talus is an amazing little goat, with a heart full of love and adventure. He's always happy to have his picture taken with anyone that has a camera. Talus lives on a farm with his dog and cat brothers and sisters, along with his humans, as well.

Talus, Angelina and Emma got to meet two wonderful young ladies yesterday, when we stopped at a gas station. Both of these girls, Nicole and Sarah, are with Teen Challenge Women Ministries. They travel around, helping to raise awareness to other young women that may be going through abuse or addiction. If you happen to see these two, stop and say, "Hello!". Today, Talus went to Kingswood School in Bean Station. He was greeted by all the wonderful children and amazing staff, who all showered him with love and affection (I think he didn't want to leave).
Kingswood School provides a loving, Christian environment for children that have come from unhappy situations. Everything that we saw there, pointed in the direction of pure, unconditional love.

All of the children were happy, well mannered, extremely kind and compassionate. You could easily see that they were displaying the kind of treatment towards us that they receive themselves.

We left there not only feeling filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit that those children gave to us, but also with a desire to want to volunteer some of our time there.

Everyone should take just one hour to visit there and experience this for yourselves. For more information on how to donate or volunteer, go to www.kingswood-school.com.

On behalf of Talus and the rest of us, we wish to thank all of the wonderful staff and children at Kingswood School. We are honored to have been one of your guests.

Talus visits the Morristown Boys and Girls Club and gets a special visit with the Program Director.
This club offers a wide variety of fun and exciting opportunities for kids and teens, all for only $15 per year.
The entire staff is wonderful and engaging and all the kids had smiles on their faces when we were there.

Watch for Talus this Thursday. He will be at Kingswood School in Bean Station. This school is remarkable as it is for abandoned, abused or neglected children. Talus can't wait to meet the children there and to hopefully help put a little smile on their faces. For more information on this school, go to: www.kingswood-school.com

Look who Talus got to meet.
While out on errands today, Talus was fortunate enough to meet two of Morristowns finest, Officer Watson the K9 Unit and Officer Griffith. Both Officers were kind enough to pose for a photo with our little celebrity, showing us that even though they are busy keeping our streets safe, they still have time to do a kindly act.
Thank you Officer Griffith and Officer Watson. It was a pleasure meeting you both.

ROGERSVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL - Talus received a clean bill of health from our wonderful vet, Dr. John Slaughter. Don't let the name fool you. He has to be one of the most caring vets you'll ever meet. His number one priority is their health. From the smallest of kittens, to the biggest of cows, Dr. Slaughter knows how to tenderly treat and care for your beloved pet.
It's all thanks to him that Talus is still here today. After taking Talus in as an emergency patient and working on him, along with his wonderful team, for over a half hour, Dr. Slaughter sent us immediately to UT Vet Hospital. He even called ahead to let them know that we were on our way.

Talus stopped by Morristown Pediatric Dentistry with the kids, yesterday and got to visit with Dr. Helderman and one of her staff.
If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, this is the place to go. Very clean, great staff, fun environment for the kids and of course an amazing dentist.
Thank you, Dr. Helderman for taking the time to visit with Talus.
