Just when I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel and Clarence’s abscesses on his hooves are clear, he pulls this out of his hat. 🤦‍♀️ Now for another round of stall and small corral confinement.
At this point I’m just gonna assume I won’t be riding him any time soon. He’s as clumsy as I am!

Trees down on the homestead. The truck is totaled and the shop roof got crushed but all the animals are safe.
Thankful for helpful neighbors who called us to let us know about the trees and for helping us to remove them!

Duck Duck and his crew moved from the baby brooder to the Poultry Palace today!
Total of 7 ducks and 8 turkey chicks (6 broad breasted white meat turkeys and 2 heritage turkey chicks).

Super simple compost area!! Put 2 t-posts in the ground and slide a pallet over them to make the sides. Then 2 posts up front and slide a board behind them! Done!!

Vet visit and farrier visit went very well today! Clarence is a healthy 12 year old with good hooves. He got to be turned out in the pasture today. He is still being quarantined from Radar and the cows just as a precaution.
