The Farm went on the market today…

UPDATE: Under contract as of 01/29 🥰

What the listing doesn’t reveal is EntropyEggs lives here, with 23 breeding chicken, duck and/ goose pens including a secluded water fowl section with 3 12x12 pens for Ducks and 3 10/10 chain link pens for Geese with a small pond that could have a second section also blown out for aquatic fun! Or the barn which has 2 leintos set up to hold tractor equipment undercover, or, be converted to kennels or other pens.

Sigh… well, here’s my heart, please feel free to share with other like-minded peeps!

Sometimes, 💩 more than just happens...

I've been stalling, basically, for lack of words... But THIS happened yesterday, and no, this wasn't an April Fool's Day joke, although, upon waking this morning I did stare out the window in a daze for about 10min, just to encompass the immense reality. I still have no words, and have not yet cried at the loss of over 300 chicks and every last piece of hatching equipment I own. For the record, it was NOT caused by those stupid light bulb heaters, because, you know, they cause fires! In that front right corner of the building (where absolutely nothing exists), I had a cabinet incubator and hatcher, along with 6 HatchingTime brooders (only 2 were heated, the rest grow-out), along with a couple flat panel heaters. 🤦‍♀️ F.M.L. The wording above was almost a carbon copy of how I told my family of the devastation, and it was suggested not to sugar-coat. So there you have it... EntropyEggs 2022 Season is officially over for chicks; the adult stock was far away from this event, so hatching eggs are still available, along with much more than usual refrigerated eating eggs.
