Austin Veterinary Outreach and Rescue is an all volunteer, registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to the health and welfare of animals in our community. Our mission is to help provide affordable care for pets including, but not limited to, low cost vaccines, Heartworm testing, and spay and neuter. In addition to providing care for owned pets, we also work closely with shelters to pro

vide medical care to homeless pets. We have an active foster program and house cats and dogs that are in need of forever homes. All animals adopted through AVOR will be completely vetted before adoption. Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless animals and animals needing veterinary care.

Dr. Austin having fun today with our rescues while waiting for the storm. Alaska and GoGo are both adoptable and will be attending the New Leash on Life training program once this hurricane passes. Be safe everyone! ❤️

Jessie came to us from a hoarding situation, living in a pen and not so great life, she’s definitely a rescue and has come a long way since being with us. She’s an adorable 3 year old ball of energy. She loves people, so much that she can be “mouthy” in showing her affection and when she’s excited. She will need to be an only spoiled pup and have room to run and play. A sweet little girl who finally deserves to be in a home.

WINTER and GoGo love playing with each other all day! These sweet boys would love to find a family alone or together! ❤️

We love these two sweethearts! Watch them play! Rayne and Elle are available for adoption!

Early morning shenanigans!

Cookie and Whiskey have been with us for awhile now. They ❤️ each other and black dogs get overlooked sometimes! Cookie (in the pool) and Whiskey would love a chance to share their love with a family!
