Finn has been coming to day n train for 11 sessions, with the amazing work that both our trainer, Alexander Romero, and Finn’s Owner’s have been putting in on the days he isn’t training with us. This guy is completely conditioned to the E-collar and reliable enough to enjoy some extra freedoms on the beach!
Way to go Alex, Finn and family! We are so proud of how far you’ve come.
Day and trains
Our day and trains the last week of August!
Welcome; Finn, Bree, Luci, Rocky, Greyson, Lassie and Gemini into our formal day and train program.
All of these dogs of different ages and temperaments are working on different behaviors and different levels of training. They get to spend the entire day with us and get multiple sessions through the day, there are plenty of videos of sessions sent to Owner’s on progress as well as a period of instruction during pickup at the end of the day!
If you are interested in Day and Trains or any other form of training that we offer message us or call: 843-379-DOGS
Having some fun upfront greeting customers and hanging with staff.
🐾 Crate training your dog has numerous benefits:
1️⃣Introduce Gradually: Start by letting your dog explore the crate with the door open, gradually increasing the time spent inside.
2️⃣Make it Positive: Use treats, toys, and praise to create a positive association with the crate.
3️⃣Keep it Comfortable: Add blankets or bedding for comfort, and ensure the crate is the right size for your dog to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably.
4️⃣Establish a Routine: Set a schedule for crate time, including meals, playtime, and bathroom breaks to help your dog adjust.
5️⃣Use Commands: Teach your dog a command like “crate” or “kennel” to signal it’s time to go in the crate.
6️⃣Stay Calm: Avoid making a big fuss when leaving or returning, to prevent separation anxiety.
7️⃣Be Patient: Crate training takes time and patience, so stay consistent and positive throughout the process.
