An office with a view š. Getting these babies out of the arena is so important and honestly so fun.
Just a little student brag post. Blondie left me and went home yesterday and this afternoon her owner messaged me this video. I donāt know many twelve year old girls who get their FIRST horse home and are excited to do GROUNDWORK. Blondie is definitely in the best hands possible, and her owner is going to go a long way. Moments like these are when those fundamental lessons and lessons when we donāt even ride pay off!
Getting on all by herself todayā¤ļø
Teaching these two future barrel racers proper arena etiquette today. Super important both their safety and the safety of others once we get these girls to some jackpots. I think theyāre ready to hit the road!
Super proud teacher moment! His first time ever cantering and he did awesome š¤© couldnāt wipe the smile off his face after this.
After just a week with me nobody would be able to tell miss Kiya hasnāt been ridden in YEARS. Canāt wait to watch her thrive the more sheās ridden.
Kind of in love with the new guyš! A little over a week here and heās already working like seasoned pro. I think he was a cow pony in a past life
Just a couple of 4 year olds doing their thing
So proud of this team! Theyāve been working hard and itās paying off. Their first play day in a while and their best yet!
I love watching a kidās confidence blossom! I wish I had kept recording because after this she picked up the canter and kept going!
This one deserves the volume up š learning how to posting trot is difficult but this girl killed it.
I got to end the week with the cutest team ever! Working on going one handed and balanced around the barrel. Wish them good luck at their barrel race tomorrow!
A big bragging rights moment today! Babygirlās first time with weight and she totally crushed it. Her future is so bright!
Definitely one of the smartest babies Iāve ever worked with! First ride coming soon š
Spent this Labor Day enjoying the breeze with some lesson kiddos! Went on a little trail ride and listened to all their stories ā¤ļø
Sean getting in a little bit of bareback practice in today! Working on balance and hand control.
The first horse I ever trained teaching all of these babies has been the coolest experience ever!
Iām so proud of the amazing transformation this mare has made! Sheās gone from dangerous (kicking, bucking, rearing, even tearing down fences) to an absolute joy! Difficult horses like this really remind me that patience can accomplish almost anything. I canāt wait to see her and her owner take on the world now!
How cute are these guys! Learning the difference between moving a horse over and turning them is something I see kiddos struggle with a lot. Something as simple as putting up a few barrels makes all the difference.
Blondie is officially off the market! After only 2 weeks with me she has found her forever home with one of my lesson kiddos and I couldnāt be more excited for them. A match made in heaven, I canāt wait to see what the future holds for these two!
