2017 the day we took over PK 2 pups walked through our door.
For 7 years they walked through those doors together and for 7 years they attended every party together.
A little over a month ago we lost one of our babies and today was the first party he didn’t come through the doors to celebrate , but we know our little treat hogging , mud loving boy was with us .When I tell you when we lose one of our babies a piece of our hearts are taken each time. These pups become ours. They become our family. We love them endlessly and unconditionally. The hurt we feel for their families loss when they lose them is real.We watch them grow older and we are so lucky to be able to have so many memories with them, but we are also so thankful for our new precious babies who we get to start a journey with of watching them grown up.

Merle we missed you today. I missed having the tip of my finger taken off as your chunky butt tried to demolish the entire treat in one bite while I snapped a picture. We missed you trying to eat yours and your brothers at the same time. We missed having to clean you off before pictures because the backyard is a lake right now.It was a hard first party without you sweet boy , but we’ll continue to celebrate in memory of you ❤️
