Thomas Performance Horses

I offer lessons for kids 5 and over and adults. Lesson horses available. I teach a variety of disc Lessons are available for most disciplines.

I have been training and teaching lessons for the past 23 years. Training is available
for all breeds. I have experience with driving, showing, and trail
riding. I believe that riding should be fun and we should enjoy
our time we spend with our horses so my focus is on creating a
good line of communication between horse and rider.

When you get a horse with an amazing brain to finish in the woods you have a lot of fun. Cinder has been with me this summer and she is a blast. Smart willing and easy. Anyone who knows the trails I ride knows that aren’t easy. This mare just goes and is quiet about it. I would ride her anywhere anytime. I feel like I scored getting the privilege to work with her. Her owner Sandy and her should have years of fun.

Cowgurls Don’t Cry “Brooke”2021 AQHA/APHA double registered black mare by Original Cowboy out of MJ Dress Fancy. 16 hands. Tested 5 panel negative. Well started. She has been lightly shown in the all around classes at local shows and has been solid and easy to show. This horse is super pretty and will get you noticed in the pen. She has also been trail rode and is quiet in the woods. 15k. Located in Beavercreek, Oregon

Aspen Farm spring horse trial was a blast. Taylor and Lava finished 2nd on their dressage score with a super tight scoring group in the top five. She is now qualified for area championships this fall. Weather was a little wild with rain and hail, but Taylor lucked out and all of her rides were in the sun.

Some days I love the view from my office. Cinder is in for trail training and arena finish work. On days like this I love to be out in the woods. She is coming along beautifully. We rode solo and she was brave and confident just walking along through the water, up and down the hills and just walking down the roads.

Meet new training horse Cinder. She is in to gain trail experience and work on trailer loading. We have been taking her out in the woods behind solid, quiet trail horses so she can gain confidence. Sunday she did fantastic and crossed out nastiest water and mud crossing I am so proud of how fast shes coming along with her confidence out in the woods. She’s is relaxed and happy, our two biggest goals.

Cross country schooling up at Tulip Springs with Three Beats Farm. Taylor has stolen my horse for the season. Excited for the first trial at Spokane.

Settled for the night at Tulip Springs! Everyone rode fantastically today, we are so excited to kick off our season at Spokane Sport Horse in May! As always we are grateful to have Bri and her gang come along. More photos to come!!

I feel this! In my teaching daily. For me I love to be pushed when I am being instructed. Watching a great coach and rider together is amazing as you can stand back and learn so much.
