U Pick is almost here!

We will be opening for blueberry and lavender UPick on 20 July. We will be open the 20 and 21 from 9 to 4pm each day.

Picking buckets are available. Please bring a container to take your goodies home.

It's almost UPick time. Planning to open in a couple more weeks. Starting to process the lavender and picked 4 buckets of cherries today...time for fun!!

We are doing a little work exchange on the 4th. Picking daisies in the lavender in exchange for a free pick to take home. Starting at 8am....beautiful way to start your morning.

If you have a few extra dollars, Pacific Pug Rescue has recently rescued a couple of groups of pugs that were dumped, in addition to the regular intakes. Anything would be appreciated....and if you have room to foster, that would be great too!

Thank you to all of our farm friends and family for making a great 2023 U Pick season.
Although there were challenges the berries are full of flavor and plentiful.
We so appreciate Doug, Devan and Jessica for their help at the farm this year.
Onward to the yacon harvest...always something to do!

This is it! Our final U Pick weekend for thec2023 season. Still plenty of good berries to enjoy.
French lavender still available for UPick as well as products.
Our ice cream special is mixed berry with chocolate and hand pies are also mixed berry.

Greetings all. Just wanted to remind you all that we have 1 more full weekend for blueberry and lavender u pick.

We will be open from 9 to 5 Sat and Sunday unless we get heat in the afternoon. If we close early either day, we will update our message.

The berries are yummy this year and we have so enjoyed seeing everyone.

Another beautiful blueberry weekend ahead. We will be open Sat and Sun 9 to 5 for blueberry and lavender u pick.

We will be distilling for lavender oil on Sat....cmon over for a yummy scent all over the farm.

We are also offering bulk hydrosol ....being your container to fill.

We also have pre bottled in 4 oz spray or 8 oz refill.

Oh what a beautiful day...only two days until we open for our UPick season...
We will be selling yacon plant starts along with our yummy syrup in two sizes. Bulk tea is also available. Such a healthy magical plant.
We will also have two other medicinal plants available for sale,
Aloe vera and rosemary.

Continue the countdown...lavender harvest begins. It's time to harvest for our lovely ladies blend. Beautiful day at the farm.
We will have bulk hydrosol (lavender water) so you can bring your container, in addition to our beautiful packaged blends.
Hydrosols have the same benefits as lavender essential oil. Contains everything good from the plant.
Lavender hydrosol is similar ph to your skin...so good for so many things for all ages. Come and see us starting next Sat , 22 July.
We will try to distill during the day so you can experience the lave nder fresh from the field.

The countdown begins....getting ready for opening day, 22 July for blueberries and lavender. Lots of farm goodies to share...the cooks have been in the kitchen crafting some goodies.
Jams and syrups from our local farm...great stocking stuffers. Blueberry, Josta, Marionberry and currants...yum!

Have a beautiful Thursday...

I did not write this - but WOW does it speak to my heart!!! Worth the read.

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday... and the month is already over... and the year is almost over... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
and we realize it's too late to go back...
So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time...
Let's keep looking for activities that we like...
Let's put some color in our grey...
Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.
And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters...
I'm doing it after...
I'll say after...
I'll think about it after...
We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours.
Because what we don't understand is that:
Afterwards, the coffee gets cold...
afterwards, priorities change...
Afterwards, the charm is broken...
afterwards, health passes...
Afterwards, the kids grow up...
Afterwards parents get old...
Afterwards, promises are forgotten...
afterwards, the day becomes the night...
afterwards life ends...
And then it's often too late....
So... Let's leave nothing for later...
Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments,
the best experiences,
best friends,
the best family...
The day is today... The moment is now...
We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather. Cool spring so crops are looking like July for UPick!
So thankful for the rain but cool nights slowed ripening....
Guess is mid- July...but the berries look beautiful.
Lavender should be ready as well.
