Miles is doing very well. He continues to meet new people and make new people friends. Very trustworthy in the house without a crate, 100% potty trained, has a good recall. Looking for his forever home. Please share!!

Miles continues to decompress and adjust to life in his foster home. He has started to play and is interacting more with Darby. He is very good with the cats, does not chase them and is a champion couch snuggler. We continued practicing relaxation protocols yesterday when the neighbor had some trees taken down. He did beautifully. He is going to make someone a very lucky adopter!! Reach out if you think you might be a good match.

Update on Miles, the dog who was abandoned near Interstate 75 and the McPherson Town neighborhood and humanely trapped on 11/11/25. He is being fostered with another Australian Shepherd and 4 cats. He is 4 years old, neutered, heartworm (-) and up to date on vaccines.

Day 4 & 5: Yesterday Miles went to the vet. He met several people and did excellent for his exam. He is heartworm (-) and up to date on vaccines. He rides very well in the car.

Today was a big day. He had more exposure to Darby and Buddha today. He is uncomfortable with close interactions but is improving. His ‘relax’ training is going beautifully. You can see this in the video. He met Sarah today and we practiced relaxing while she carried boxes out of the house.

This lovely boy is available for a foster, foster to adopt or adoptive home

He is a 4 year old red tri Australian Shepherd who is neutered, microchipped and updated on vaccines. He is currently being fostered in a home with another aussie and 4 cats.

He was abandoned and running a Dayton neighborhood for at least 2 weeks. He was humanely trapped early in the morning on 11/11/25. You can see details here:

He is house trained, settles in a crate and sleeps well at night. His skills with other animals are still being assessed. His general personality is becoming more evident as he decompresses and learns structure and boundaries. He is very affectionate and bonds easily.
