Kirsten Holt graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. degree focused on Equine Exercise Physiology. In 2004, she became involved in competitive dog sports, starting with Flyball. She has competed in both NAFA and U-FLI. Since 2013, she has been competing in dock diving, mainly with DockDogs. Wycked, her 5 year old Australian Shepherd, has competed at the DockDogs World Championships
for 2015 and 2016. Wycked is currently the Top Ranked Australian Shepherd in the disciplines of Big Air and Iron Dog with that world-wide organization. A new dog sport started in 2015 called Dueling Dogs. Wycked has qualified for that Championship the last 2 years. Over the last 4 years, Kirsten has attended a variety of canine fitness seminars to broaden her knowledge of exercising her own dogs. With a 14 year old retired flyball Aussie, 5 year old Aussie and 1 year old Aussie, they all have very different needs. She has taken canine conditioning and strength training courses (both online and on-site) through Pawsitive Performance working directly with Bobbie Lyons, CCFT, FP-MTI, CERT CF. In 2015, she completed the FitPAWS Master Trainer program (FP-MT). Kirsten has completed the University of Tennessee’s Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) certification.
