We are officially branded and we own the copyright to this design!

If you haven’t noticed, I added our AKC name to our kennel name. We will still, and we always will, remain B&R Kennel. Now, to differentiate us from the rest, we are B&R Kennel - Von Haus Mayhew German Shepherds according to FB.

The artist and myself decided it was best to design our logo with our AKC name, which is used for our dogs/puppies AKC paperwork. Our reasoning behind the change is this, we can be found in the AKC by searching Von Haus Mayhew and each of our dogs carry that suffix.

We may begin to offer shirts and hats in the future for those of you that would love to promote our brand.

B&R Kennel is our namesake and we will continue to use that name for our boarding facility and training clients; our breeding program will now be under Von Haus Mayhew.

We’ve had A LOT going on behind the scenes for the last few weeks and since we’ve recently received the ALL CLEAR, we’ve decided to add another litter to our end of year breeding.

Scheduled for delivery in September, long coat, WGSL (medium drive, excellent temperament)

Scheduled for delivery in October, stock coat working line (Czech bloodlines) (high drive, excellent temperament); this litter will be introduced to the flirt pole, scent mats, everything to set them up for a working home, yet docile to be included in a family atmosphere!

I found this information on the internet and thought I'd share with you. Over the last few days, I have received messages, emails, and phone calls about puppies and pricing. Most people do not like my pricing and want to discount significantly, I say thank you for your interest and best of luck in your search and move on.

Here is what our pricing is based on:

1) Health (must pass, hips, elbows, DM, and studs cardiac)
2) Temperament (must pass or it's a wash and not bred)
3) Pedigree (all of our pedigrees have championship bloodlines)

Per the internet, the general price range to keep in mind is:

Breeder Cost: $2000-$3500 and up for puppies with championship bloodlines.

Shelter Adoption Cost: Significantly less expensive, ranging from $100-$300.

Yesterday we said good bye to Miriam and Micah.

We also received a graduation photo from a pup in Moxie and Zeus’ litter (formerly Dante).

I failed to get photos of the pups and their families, but I did receive several photos of Miriam and her set up when she arrived home. I’m attaching 1 for y’all to see.

I’m so super proud of Maverick (formerly Dante), I love to see our puppies succeed!

Anyone??? Our brothers and sisters are leaving us tomorrow.

We have our first set of vaccinations and we’re microchipped. We do well with our crate training too.

We love to be outside but not in the sunlight, the shady areas work best for us.

Our AKC registration is prepaid. We’d love to have a family to call our own!

Emerald/Emma

Emerald/Emma is doing very well with her early obedience training. As you can see, she knows sit, down, stand and rollover. She loves her training time (could just be the treats she’s loving). When we train outdoors, Inise a raised bed and she knows ‘place’ and she’ll perform the sit, down, and stand all while on her ‘place’. She is now 11 weeks old, and an energetic little girl. She walks great on a lead and she is great in her crate and only 1 accident in the house. She loves to be around people! She loves to play tug and she loves to chew on her pink pacifier! She is AKC limited or full and RTG!

Emerald (Emma) is still looking for her furever home. She tested well on the Volhard test (mostly 3s with a couple of 4s). She’s an excellent prospect for therapy work. She has already demonstrated an ability to detract when a person is having an anxiety attack. She easily pulls them out of it and calms them down. She is one heck of a pup! She has a low/medium drive. She is not the bitey pup, she’s very chill. She prefers sticks over chew toys. She will follow her handler and is she is very handler oriented. She lights up when you speak her name! Message me if interested.
