After communicating with the Cullen’s yesterday and this morning the decision to cancel the Michigan seminar has been made.
I have contacted Hunt Secretary and asked them to close access to the seminar sign up.

Just a reminder, we are a little more than 2 weeks out from the closing date. I know it is everyone’s habit to wait till the last minute when using Hunt Secretary, but in this case I would ask you, if you are interested in attending to please sign up early.
There is considerable interest in having a seminar out east and we are attempting to coordinate travel for both. It would make us all feel a little better if we knew the seminar here in MI was going to be able to share in the expense.
Thank you all for your consideration. I hope to see you in mid June for this exciting endeavor.

We are once again inviting Andy to come over this summer and conduct a two day seminar at our place in Beaverton MI. The dates for our seminar will be Sat/Sun Jun 15/16. There will be a meet and greet Friday evening. The meet and greet will be pot luck and further details will be released as we get closer.
The cost will be $400 for the weekend with dog and $200 without a dog.
Sign up will be handled thru Hunt Secretary; it is not yet available. My hope is to go live with sign up 1 April.
Like last year, this seminar is intended for flushing dogs of all stages of development and will be conducted using traditional English style training techniques.

Didn’t have an opportunity to get a ribbon picture yet, but this little lady finished second in a 52 dog Open at the OK field trial in MO. She is really getting after it! Well done Lizzie.

Finally got a chance to get this post out. Cooper and Baker both had good trials in the very large competitive Hall of Fame trials this past weekend. Cooper finished and received the guns award in the 1st trial, while Baker took 2nd and the guns award in the 2nd trial. This is the second year in a row the “Bunch” have swept the Amateur Gun’s awards in TN!

A couple years ago I started taking an end of season photo of the “Bunch” and highlighting their accomplishments.
Unfortunately this year was a little different.
Early in the spring Mahttie sustained her 1st ACL injury. Her year came to a close with a 2nd ACL injury during rehab.
Sazz had some success in the spring but her year was cut short by an ACL injury as well.
Baker did complete her Canadian Amateur Championship with a win and a 2nd. She and Copper had strong performances in the fall US season but missed out on a placement.
Lizzie stepped in and fulfilled the “next man up” position for the team. She ran in 8 trials this year, finishing 7 and placing 6 times.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who work so hard putting on these trials. Amie and I are so grateful for your efforts.
See you in the spring.
