This is my beloved little senile, 15 yr old Luigi. He.is.always sneaking out of the gate for a "little walk around" and so far, he's always.been caught and brought home. We are very careful but we had workers working in our yard and Luigi must have slipped out. He never goes very far.

But yesterday, Luigi went too far and we couldn't find him. We looked everywhere. Some of our neighbors even pitched in. Luigi is well loved in the neighborhood. I was getting.totally frantic when.our neighbor came and showed.me a blurry picture of Luigi running across a playground that someone.posted. That playground was two streets away! My wonderful neighbor responded to the video and found out that some nice people chased him down and took him to the only open vet to see if he was chipped! (He is but its old) So we all piled in the car, neighbor included, and headed to the vet to get Luigi!

It was Luigi! He was mad as a wet hen and didn't appreciate being man handled by strangers but he was glad to see me! So everyone hugged.and I cried and Luigi is home again. He's a little stiff and sore but he's getting better quickly. And he's got a new collar now with his id and he's never going to take it off. Never!

Thank you to all the wonderful dog lovers who came out to see us last week at the Indio Dog Show. We had a great show and I loved seeing you and your doggies.

Im working away now on those custom orders.

I have a new friend who needs a loving home.

I am calling this pretty girl Jasmine. She is about one year old and a small husky mix. About 38 punds. She arrived at my friend's house having been beaten, covered in dirt and grime, with bite marks on her front legs. She was wearing a harness vest that she had outgrown and when it was cut off her, it took patches of hair and skin with it. These wounds are beginning to heal now that she is clean and cared for but she still shows some damage from whoever has been mistreating this very nice dog.

This little girl is still shy, especially around men, but she warms up to people in just a little while when she realizes you aren't going to hurt her. She wants to please. She is house broken but sometimes does a little piddle when scared. This will clear up when she feels safe. She has been through a lot.

She is so sweet. She loves to cuddle and be held. She walks well on a leash and doesn't pay any attention to other dogs around her.

Im very impressed with this really nice dog. Is there anyone out there who wants this sweety????

THIS IS A SHOUT OUT TO THE WORLD.

I want to let people know that I can still help find homes for Rat Terriers. Or find a Rat Terrier for you if you are looking.

After years rescuing Rat Terriers, I still get calls from people who adopted dogs I placed many years ago. Some of those dogs have passed on and these wonderful people, who adopted a little rescue and loved it all it's life, are now calling me wanting a new little Rat Terrier to love.

So please let me know if you know of a Rat Terrier on the west coast that needs a home.

I guess that when you have been a rescuer, you never really stop
