No days off when you have livestock

The not fun part of homesteading. I’m so sad, Ladybird passed away today. She was one of the first 10 layer chickens we bought. She was at the house in Bloomington in a run, moved to a temporary coop while we moved and then lived the last 3 years at the new farm as a pasture raised chicken. She was old faithful and laid a lot of eggs for us and by far our most friendly chicken. Yes she was just a chicken, but she was one of our special chickens. This one is a hard loss for me.

Our stick body balms are here, but in a VERY limited supply. Made with just 5 all natural ingredients including local beeswax, goat milk and 3 oils. With this cold snap we just had this balm has saved my dry chapped hands. I love all our products or I wouldn’t make them, but this is my all time favorite product I have made. $8 for 2oz and a little goes a long way!

💥New products coming soon💥

The first one I’m really excited about. We took local beeswax added goat milk, shea butter, palm oil, jojoba oil and turned it into a stick lotion. I made a few test batches and this stuff is so so good. It’s saved my hands this past week from the cold weather. This should probably be available next week, but very limited for a trial run.

Next we’ve had a lot of requests for beard oil. I’ve made a test batch, and since no one in our household is bearded, we’re sending a few out to be tested. I’m also trying this out as a hair mask on myself.

Keep an eye out for when these drop. They both will start with very limited supply.
