Hello everyone!! I know it has been awhile! We have so many new faces I wanted to introduce ourselves. I am April owner and founder here at Almost Home Stables. My passions include horses, great Danes, and strange and unusual flowers! My two horses Gandolf and Storm are complete polar opposites of eachother. My fiance Tanner is a heavy equipment operator, and does the hay business side of the farm. Tanner enjoys watching the horses but his true passion is cows and tractors. Between the farm and our kids, we are always on the go.
Next we have our oldest Braelynn. She is 8 and loves every animal she has ever met. She would like to be a vet or a singer when she grows up. Last is our little man Hunter. He is 5 and loves to ride his bike, swim, and just run. Both kids enjoy swimming but Hunter is our fish! He wants to farm when he is grown. This is not just a job to us, this is my passion and this is what I love to do!

We are located at 5262 Leatherwood Rd, just a few miles off of highway 50 East of Bedford. Our first U pick day is Sunday from 3-7 pm. Admission is free. You just pay for your flowers! A regular mouth jar full is $10, a wide mouth is just $15 and a small (kid’s size jar) is $5.

🐎🐎🐎🦄We have two spots of stall board, and will have one spot of pasture board opening up around the first weekend of may! We are currently practicing safe visits. If you are interested please send me a message!

Indoor riding arena
(The safe visit guidelines are available at request)
Hay, grain, and turn out included. Stalls are cleaned daily. Horses are brushed weekly.
We have an awesome vet/ farrier!!

I dont think anyone looks smart while desensitizing. It's still one of the most important things to do with your horse. You never know when that trash bag monster will blow across the trail.
We work with a couple really good trainers. If anyone needs help I can point you in the right direction :)

It's time we all get to know each other!

1st This is Storm.
She likes to nibble on my hair and give me dirty looks anytime shes not pleased. I'm pretty sure she was a clown in her past life. Shes always goofy and making us laugh.

2nd this is Stoney.
He would rather hangout with the children than the adults so he can get out of work.
He's so lazy even his tantrums are short lived.
