🐴Welcome Noddy- a 7yo Bay OTTB rescue we went to Pennsylvania to get. He is sound, sane, and safe!! He just needs some weight due to no fault of his own.

🩷 and…. Another Blue Roan!! Miss Delilah a 3yo ranch/barrel prospect. She is about to gain the most important and fundamental training throughout the next couple of months!! After that- she might be for sale, yall! Unless I fall in love with her, which is pretty normal on my end.🥰❤️

The remaining pictures from this week’s lessons!!

——-ALSO a little recap of Little Creek Equine and our Mission. Everyone who comes to the barn has their own story and goals.

•Some are horse owners looking to improve their horse’s movement, build confidence, or strengthen their partnership.

•Others are brand-new riders: some as young as 3 years old JUST beginning their journey into the world of horses.

•We have kids who already ride but want to expand their skills—learning how to handle different horses, prepare for ownership, explore speed events, or enjoy peaceful pasture rides.

•And then, there are the riders who come simply for peace of mind. To escape the noise of life. To reconnect with something pure and grounding. To find joy and purpose again through one of God’s most magnificent creations.

•••or maybe it is a mixture of all.

At this farm, we welcome riders of all levels with open arms. Each lesson is designed around the individual. Your goals, your pace, your interests. That’s what makes riding and bonding with the horses so meaningful.

But it’s not just about us as riders, it’s also about the horses.

We expect so much from them, and while they are wonderfully patient and kind, they have their own hearts, personalities, and emotions too. Building trust, connection, and understanding is what allows both horse and rider to truly grow together. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about riding…. it’s about the partnership!!! And to truly understand that, is a dedication to the sport. 🥰🐴❤️

✨ Planning an event, birthday party, or festival? ✨
Let us at Little Creek Equine help make it unforgettable! 🎉🐴

•There aren’t many neighborhoods that come together and create something special just for their community — but the Belmont Estates In Vinton absolutely did! ❤️ Yesterday we had the sweetest time joining friends and family for their neighborhood fall festival, and it was truly something to remember!!!🤩🎉

We brought a few of our favorite furry friends: our newest baby calf (Dottie), (Elsa) bunny, (Reece and Sundae) guinea pigs, Sweet Pea, and Hotshot — and offered baby calf cuddles and hand-led pony rides for the kiddos. 🐮🐰🐴✨

The festival was packed with fun ••• face painting, a bounce house and slide, a slime-making station, a delicious barbecue truck, and even hay rides to the cutest little pumpkin patch. 🎃🚜

It genuinely felt like the kind of community we need more of. Neighbors supporting neighbors, kids laughing, families gathering, and everyone simply enjoying being together. Our hearts are full, and we’re so grateful to have been invited to be a part of it. 🧡🍂

What a beautiful morning spent with the Hamilton family visiting from Richmond, Virginia! These girls showed up ready for adventure and didn’t disappoint. From catching and grooming their horses, to tacking up, warming up, and truly connecting with their horses -they displayed amazing horsemanship, patience, and heart every step of the way. 🥰
Sweet Pea, Hotshot, and Isadora enjoyed the extra love and treats afterwards!

Our camp is open to everyone, no matter your horse experience or client status. Ages 5–15 are welcome.
(4yo’s welcome as long as they are potty trained and fairly independent)
