Meet ✨Wilbur✨

Wilbur is a spunky, sweet, special & handsome boy we have had in our boarding area for quite a while now. He is searching for his forever home! He is a heeler mix, which means he is full of energy! He is a little nervous at first & it can be hard for him to earn your trust but once you show him love he will be your partner for life. He does NOT do well with other dogs or children. He needs someone who understands how heelers are & is willing to take time with him to earn his love & let him trust you.

We have all fallen in love with him at BAH so he will only go to a special home!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Due to the increasing number of clients not calling to cancel appointments/surgeries, we will be implementing a $25 no show fee if you do not call by 9am the morning of your appointment/surgery. We have a waiting list of clients trying to get in and it is not fair for spaces to remain blocked for clients who are not showing up to their appointments.

We also wanted to remind everyone that clients cannot put friend’s or relative’s pets on their accounts. They must be on their own account. We are starting to welcome new clients referred to us by clients in good standing.

“Boots” was found in the city of Bedford after a police man brought him in due to being bit by a car. He was very scared, feral, and unsure about us. He had pelvic fractures & a fractured tail. He required lots of rest and a tail amputation. He took a long time to get used to us because he most likely never had any had any human contact until the day of the accident, but he had blossomed into the sweetest, gentle, quiet boy who is very interested in toys & other kitties when they walk by his kennel! He will require a very quiet home, no dogs, cats could be tested. He is very sweet but definitely needs someone who will take their time with him and let him break out of his shell even more in a new environment.

Anyone want to give this loving boy a chance at house kitty life?! 🐈🐾💚

-All puppy/kitten litter checkups need to be scheduled at the time your puppies/kittens are born for their first checkups.

-We are very short staffed and our spots fill up extremely fast so setting this up ahead of time for their 6 week appointments is very helpful to fulfill the needs of your babies!

What a good week it has been!

On Monday we got to see 53 puppies total!!!🐕🐩 This included routine litter checkups, individual puppy checkups, & 2 c-sections! We were busy but loved the puppy cuddles. Not often do we get that many in one day!

We are missing our beloved hospital cat, TBD. He escaped sometime last night & still no sight of him. He has a shaved front leg & shaved neck from being a blood donor recently. He is probably very scared but he is a sweetheart. Contact us with any sightings!!!

Who needs a new friend?! Meet Betty Black!

She is approximately 3-4 years old. Spayed & up to date on vaccines. Betty is a sweet, quiet girl. She prefers to do things on her own, and would do best with a calm, quiet home.

Some of her favorite things include head rubs, windows, and small play toy balls that have bells in them (she goes crazy for those 🎉)

Betty would do better with someone who is experienced with cats and would allow her to acclimate to them & their home before rushing her into being a lap cat. She likes to do things on her own time but is very, very loving and would soon come around and be a love bug in an appropriate home.

Bootsie 🐈🐾❤️

Bootsie is a spayed, up to date kitten that needs a home. She came to us after having a bullet in her left front leg which we amputated. She has not let that hold her back at all.

We are making one last attempt to find this baby’s owners before her stray hold is up and we find her a new home, as she came to us from Bedford County Animal Control. She is extremely sweet and know she is missed from someone’s home! We have her in some wheels because she sustained some type of back injury and is unable to use her back legs - we did not find her with these!
