MEET WALLY…

Wally is a mixed breed who is estimated to be approximately 1 1/2 years old. He came to BCHS after being abandoned by his previous owner at a local Walmart.

After all he’s been through, Wally is just the most pawsome boy and the biggest baby! He’s a very timid fella but loves attention and pets once he warms up to you.

Wally does great on a leash!🦮 He doesn’t know what toys are yet, but we’re working on that!! And…he makes the BEST smooshie face!!! 🩵

Wally seems to be both cat and dog friendly. As always, a meet and greet with all other dogs in the household is required.

Wally would love to find a real furever family. Someone who he can depend on and give him the life he so deserves!

Scarlet is a very sweet bulldog mix, estimated to be approximately 2-3 years old who came to BCHS as a stray

Scarlet has excellent leash manners 🐕‍🦺 and demands your undivided attention! And in the summertime, she loves to just hang out in the pool and chill! 🏖️

Scarlet does need to be the only animal in the home. She also needs an adult only home or a home with older children (ages 15+) due to her excitability and energy level.

We know Scarlet’s perfect home is out there. Could it be with you?

Jeffrey is 12 years old and currently our oldest feline resident. Don’t let his age fool you though, he is pretty spry and keeps the kittens in line. 🐈

He longs for a lap he can curl up on and a companion he can follow around and help with household tasks. 🧹

Jeffrey can be found in the cat room perched high in a tower so he can watch over the lobby. However he wastes no time coming to greet you as soon as you walk in their door. 🚪

Meet Ghost 👻

Ghost is a 4 year old mixed breed who came to the shelter as a stray. He is a very playful boy who loves attention!

Ghost is very strong on a leash and needs someone to work with him on his leash manners.🦮

This fun loving fella loves to chase the water from the pressure washer! 💦 😆 Ghost also enjoys destroying stuffies, especially squeaky ones! And… he has a shoe obsession👟🥾… he likes to try to chew your shoes while you are still wearing them… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Ghost must be the ONLY animal in an adult-only home or a home with older children (over 15 years old).

Please keep in mind that while Ghost is not perfect, we believe that his furever home is out there. He just may be the perfect fit for YOU!! He needs someone who is patient and willing to work on training and manners to help him become the dog we know he can be!

MISSING DOG!

One of our girls went to a foster to adopt home and bolted out the door. She is microchipped, wearing a shelter ID tag, and likely still wearing her sweater. She is extremely shy. She escaped from Egolf Rd in Bedford. If you spot her; do not approach and do not leave food out. We need her to go into a trap, especially with this weather. She is likely hunkered down and trying to stay out of the wintery conditions.

If you spot her; message us directly with the area so we can pass it along!

This is about getting Wynona to safety; so any comments that are not in the best interest of finding the dog will be removed.

Holly will have you falling in love and melting over her sweet personality. She came to BCHS as a momma, but is ready to get out and have her own fun! She is a little over a year old. Holly will make the best companion anyone could ask for!

Raya is the first one to greet you when you step into the cat room. Like Holly, Raya also came to BCHS as a momma. Raya is 3 years old. She could be the perfect side kick in your everyday activities!

Mirabel is asking for someone to text her this Valentines Day, or rather ‘have your people call her people.’

Mirabel is an almost 3 year old female. When she first came to the shelter she had a completely different goal. She had several babies she needed to raise. They have all been adopted since, so she sits and waits for someone to come take her home.

Mirabel enjoys a nice sunny day on the catio, and greeting all of our guests. She doesn’t mind a few cuddles now and then but mostly keeps to herself.
