1. Regular grooming helps to remove dirt, mats, and tangles from your dog's fur, keeping them clean and comfortable. Grooming also helps to distribute natural oils throughout their fur, which can improve their skin and coat health. A healthy coat and skin can keep your dog free from infections and parasites, and also prevent skin problems such as hot spots, rashes, and sores.

2. Grooming every 4-6 weeks allows your groomer to identify and address any potential health problems early on. For example, a hot spot may be discovered on your dog's skin during grooming, which can be treated with a simple topical solution, rather than requiring a trip to the vet. Do you have a double coated furfriend at home? Then you know how adorable they look with their fluffy fur, but did you know that regular grooming and deshedding is crucial for their health and happiness?

Double coated breeds have a special two-layered coat that helps them regulate their body temperature and protects their skin. But, without proper grooming, their undercoat can become matted and trap in dirt, moisture, and bacteria, leading to skin irritation and other health problems.

Don't let your pup suffer in silence! Make sure to add regular grooming and deshedding to their care routine to keep them looking and feeling their best. These FurFriends should be in the shop every 6-8 weeks minimum to keep their coat healthy and tails waggin!

Brrr! It's chilly outside, but we're here to make sure your furfriends stay warm and toasty!

Did you know that some dogs are more prone to feeling the cold than others? Short haired breeds and dogs with thin fur need a little extra help to keep warm during these chilly months.

To keep your pup happy and healthy don't forget to protect their paws from salt, antifreeze, and other winter chemicals. Limit outside time (let your pet decide), provide shelter, keep them hydrated, and most important extra love for warmth.

Stay vigilant and watch for signs of frostbite, such as pale skin, blisters, and swelling. And remember, a warm and cozy dog is a happy dog!
