Robin is preparing for Rescue Robin! Starting October 21st, he and his huskies will be living 24/7 in the Rural King parking lot to raise funds for the White River Humane Society. Huge thanks to Rural King for providing the space and to Jackson Heavy Haul for moving Robin's dog condo at no charge.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS - RESCUE ROBIN 2024 begins on Monday, October 21st and we need help with having volunteers on site to collect donations in addition to volunteers to who will bring Robin dinner each day. KENNEL TECH
•Minimum age requirement is 17
•Starting pay $12 an hour
•Must be able to work with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities.
•Must be able to lift bags of litter and food.
•Responsibilities include but are not limited to socializing animals, scrubbing kennels, walking dogs and picking up/disposing of waste, washing dishes, wash & fold laundry, feeding animals, refreshing water, etc.
•Must be able to work in all types of weather (cold & heat) and have dependable transportation, as the animals depend on us each and every day.
•Some weekend availability required.

Cute little Abe is a 4-month-old terrier/hound mix who would love a friend to take him on walks. He’s so sweet that he tries to walk himself, but it’s just not the same as having a real buddy by his side. Abe does well with other dogs, is a smart boy, and needs a loving home to help him grow into a well-mannered companion. He’s ready to find his forever family! Leo is a lively 7-year-old Shepherd/mix who still has a lot of puppy energy! He's friendly with people and other dogs, though he can be a bit too eager and doesn't always know boundaries. Leo would do well in a home with older kids and other dogs, but he might not be the best fit for a household with cats. Leo likes to keep his kennel clean! Leo is ready to find his forever family who can appreciate his playful nature and joyful spirit. Leo is up to date on vaccinations, tested for heartworms, dewormed, microchipped and is neutered.
