🐂UNIQUE🐂

Just like our fingerprints, no two Texas Longhorns are alike. They all differ in color pattern, size, horn length, and personality.

God created the world with variety. He made every tree, every snowflake, every animal species very different. In fact, He created over 400,000 different flowering plants — so yes, God enjoys variety! What’s even more fascinating is that He made every human different as well. Not only does He design our physical bodies in a unique way, but also our personalities, our experiences in life and our talents. Imagine how boring the world would be if we were all exactly the same? It’s important to remember each of us is unique and valuable and that no one else in the world is like us.

David talks about the role that God plays in bringing us into existence in Psalm 139:
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

We are the “original” — we are not a copy! Remember, God is perfect and He does not make mistakes. So, He made us exactly the way He planned to, according to His perfect plan.

We need to remember we are made in God’s image. When we understand this, we will feel loved and will embrace our differences. We will be less likely to have comparison issues and will learn to appreciate everyone’s uniqueness.

Each of us is designed to bring Him glory in a way that no one else can. God created us to live right now — in this exact generation — for a purpose. We were all intentionally created to have different personalities, talents, dreams, and influence to fulfill a purpose for His plan.

✨ S E P T E M B E R ✨ I’ll be back and lessons, sessions and all activities will be in full swing! I’ve enjoyed this time off with my family and adjusting to life as a family of F O U R. The moments of rest and peace were very much needed. Going forward I will be continuing to intentionally make time for more moments like that because I am a M O M first and that is my greatest calling. Everything else comes after. So please be patient with us as we work with our schedule to accommodate everyone the best we can. We look forward to seeing you at the farm!

👀 Take a peek into our OFFICE 🗃️
We do our best to make your time here at the farm enjoyable. There is a lot of things available to our clients. We have a ✨FRIDGE ✨in the office with drinks, freeze pops and our for sale. Below the fridge we have a ✨BOOKSHELF✨ with a lot of reading options to help the reader grow and provide lots of fruitful benefits to their life. We have a variety of kids books, horse books, books for teens, books for adults, books on marriage and different devotionals. Clients are allowed to borrow any books they see they want to read and can sign them out. We strive to provide many helpful tools for our clients. That’s why we also have a✨TREASURE CHEST✨We use a lot of items in the treasure chest for therapy sessions and lessons. There are cards for specific topics such as depression, anxiety, body image, attributes of God, armor of God, fruits of the spirit, and other great conversation starters for both kids and adults. We also have books and other material in there as well as sensory objects to help with body regulation. In the office you will also find a ✨TOY CHEST✨ in the toy chest is all kinds of games, yard games, card games, books, puzzles, toys, and activities for kids and families to play with while they are at the farm waiting for their siblings lesson or child’s lesson to be over. This promotes creativity, play and quality family time while they wait. We have ✨HALTERS✨ for each of our horses. They have their own color and their own hook to hang it on. This helps with organization but also helps the client be more independent when grabbing items and learning how to do things. Everything here is labeled. As you can see we have✨MANY SADDLES✨ and a lot of tack including ✨RIDING HELMETS and extra RIDING BOOTS ✨at the farm. We teach both and so we have tack for both disciplines. We also have tack in all kinds of SIZES because we have a variety of sizes in horses. They each need their own size saddle, bridal and set of tack!

A farm experience doesn’t have to be a ONE TIME experience. You can come out WEEKLY or MONTHLY or how ever often you want to. You will learn more each time you come out! We are here and always ready to give you a good time. We have the ability to tailor your sessions and we can take large groups!

Being on the farm and around the animals is extremely therapeutic and very beneficial.

🤍Meet Mini Pearl! Her paperwork for AQHA is pending! She is 13.1hh. She is a Yearling, QH CREAMELO! She is UTD on shots and deworming and has been trimmed by the farrier a few times. She has had very little ground work done but is halter broke and extremely willing to learn and listen. She has the basics down. Leads, lunges, picks up all 4 feet, stands to be brushed, yields around and is easy to catch.
She is a sweet girl very in your pocket 🤍

🎉Happy Birthday Adriane🎉
You probably recolonize this lovely face if you have came to the farm for a farm experience or have been here for lessons. Adriane has been a part of In Harmony Farm since 2022! We recently hired her in January 2024 as our Barn Assistant. Adriane does anything from feeding, to farm chores, hoof trimming and herd health care, deworming, cleaning tack, cleaning the barns, working horses, doing guided farm experiences and overseeing student barn time. She’s been keeping the farm going when I am not able to be right out there with our clients and animals. She welcomes everyone with a smile and cares for our animals well. We appreciate her SO MUCH!

One of my clients is an American Quarter Horse breeder. Right now she has some babies ready for new pastures. Each of them are at a different level in ability (fancybroke-started) They range in $$$ as well.

Do not expect cheap. These are quality horses with great minds to them. They have had solid training and a wonderful foundation. Time and professional training is not cheap. All babies have been handled frequently.

There are MANY benefits to being on the farm, surrounded by farm animals, working with the horses and being on horseback. It is naturally therapeutic and healing. It can reset your system and give you relief and peace like no other activity can.

We want to share our farm and our animals the Lord has so graciously blessed us with as MANY people as we can. We want to spread joy and make Gods love tangible to everyone and anyone that steps foot on this property. 🎨🖌️ PAINTING a horse is always an option here at In Harmony Farm. If you want to include this to your FARM EXPERIENCE, PONY PARTY or STUDENT BARN TIME just let your guide for the day know and they can tailor your session♥️🐴

We use non toxic 🚫 washable paint for our horses. This does NOT harm them in anyway. We love our animals, respect our animals and appreciate them and care for them highly in every way we can.
•
has incredible benefits and is used in sessions for many reasons. It is fun, it is safe, it is sensory play, it has the ability to teach a lesson in a fun way, it is engaging, therapeutic and it is unique! How many people can say they painted a horse?
•
While being painted the horses stand tied as they would for brushing, grooming and tacking. Horses communicate to us through body language. Proper teaches you to highly observe and pay atttention to their body language. During the activity they do not express any discomfort while being painted. They do not show signs of pain or submission. They simply enjoy the clients presence and engaging with the client as they paint. They have their ears pricked forward as to say they are happy and they are relaxed in sessions, licking and chewing as they communicate to us that they are having a good time and simply don’t mind allowing the children and clients to paint their body.

It’s like a kid who gets their face painted at a fair. 🎡 it’s a fun activity and not abusive. IN FACT The origins of FACE PAINT trace back thousands of years.

DID YOU KNOW ✋🏾the Indians painted their horses? In Native American cultures, horses meant power, wealth and survival. To paint a horse for battle or for a buffalo hunt was a sacred act, believed to enhance power for both horse and rider—spiritually and physically. It was serious business and could mean life or death. Specific symbols were reserved for hunting to display a horse's past achievements, and bring protection and good luck to the horse and rider.
