So I’ve been keeping a little secret for the last few weeks… 🐹🐹🐹
Welcome, Caramel, the sweetest Abyssinian to my ever-growing foster herd 😍 Is this not the cutest trio you’ve ever seen-Tilly, Tally and now Caramel 🩷

So here’s what’s been going on with my foster girlies: Tilly and Tally have been in foster with me since last May, but because of their chronic medical issues and age, it was proving to be quite a challenge trying to find the right adopters for them. In February, we made the decision to transfer them from their original rescue to my favorite piggy rescue, 🤗 where we decided it would be best if they remained as sanctuary pigs (i.e. not be adopted out, but stay under my care in my home for the rest of their lives). In the meantime, Miss Caramel here was in need of a friend after losing her sister 💔 and since she is also a senior girl (5-6 years old) with medical requirements (she has dental issues and requires frequent teeth trims), we decided to try to bond these three special girls together and wow did it work out wonderfully, thanks to Betsy’s awesome bonding skills 😍 They have all become the best of friends and I couldn’t be happier to provide a final home for these cuties 🩷 They will be so spoiled here and will receive all the love and care they will ever need. Our plan is to add on to this herd as needed for any other special piggies that come along, but for now I’m so grateful to spend all the time with Tilly, Tally and Caramel ❤️ Thank you Betsy for trusting me with these girls!! It literally makes my heart so happy to be able to help these sweet little critters and I’m so thankful for all that you do for them 🥰 Be prepared to see lots more of Tilly/Tally/Caramel around here 😅

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from this little leprechaun 🍀 Rocky had a big day today since he received his final RHDV2 vaccine which means he got his official vaccination certificate 😁 He also opted to have his photo taken while at the clinic (he’s such a ham 😎) so thank you so much to for this awesome St. Patrick’s Day shoot and for hosting this clinic! These came out so cute! 🥰

All treats and no tricks over here 👻 We had ourselves an amazing Halloween bash today and I have to say, the littles really pulled through with their costumes! 🎃 Special shout-out to Lammie (the Westie) who has been dressing in different costumes since the beginning of October! 😄 Now that’s how to keep things festive! And a big thank you to and Lammie’s owner for supplying Halloween treats for the whole pack today 🍬🍭 they loved them and I love my pack!! Yesterday, we laid to rest my beautiful Amigo, aka “Waylon’s Southern Rebel” and my heart is just in pieces 💔 It has been an absolute roller coaster of emotions these past few weeks, but I am at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and that he is running free, as all horses should. This guy has been a constant in my life for the past 14 years (he was a high school graduation gift from my parents) and I must say, we have been on quite the wonderful ride together. He was a cherished member of my family and held a very special place not only in my heart, but also in my two sister’s hearts. He had three girls to love him and spoil him always and we would joke that we were his three “amigos” as we were always all together at the barn. There are countless memories to speak of and so many pictures I would love to share, but I am just so grateful for his loyal friendship and love throughout the years. He was literally the best friend a girl could ask for, and even though I didn’t get to see him much these last few years, every time we did get together, it was like picking up right where we had left off. He lived out his golden years on the most beautiful farm with his best horse buddy, Tobie and he truly had the best life just being a horse. I want to give a huge thank you to Casey Gingras-Kulshreshtha who shared her slice of heaven with us for seven years and took care of Amigo like he was one of her own. I am truly grateful for all you did for him! I also want to say thank you to my family for being so supportive the last couple of weeks and helping out and getting me through wherever they could. I am going to miss this sweet boy and all his little quirks and of course, his crooked blaze which was so fitting for his personality, but I am just so thankful for the memories and love he gave me and my family. I love you Meegs and I hope you are eating all the apples you can ❤️

Healing thoughts for my big guy, Amigo, 😔 who is going through a bad bout of laminitis right now (which in horses, is a very serious and often life-threatening condition) He’s had a bit of improvement this past week, but he is definitely not out of the woods yet so I’m hoping for a full recovery, even if it’s a slow one. 🤞 (he’s an older gentleman, most likely approaching his 30s, so he could use all the luck right now!) We have been doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and get him through this, but it has been a very stressful last couple of weeks so apologies if I have been a little helter skelter. Balancing boarding, the dogs and getting to the barn daily has been a lot, but I’ve been here before with my babies and I will always do all that I can to get them healthy. Thanks to all my clients who have been so flexible and kind the last couple of weeks, I truly appreciate you all ❤️ you can do this Amigo!!!

Hellllooo!! My name is Jade and I’m a fun-loving pittie 🐶 looking for a buddy or two to join me occasionally on Saturday mornings for an awesome walking adventure 🤩 My mom (Kassia’s sister) is always looking to tire me out and I thought it would be a great idea to invite some friends along on our outings. What do you think? Anyone want to get to know me? I think we may be walking this Saturday so be sure to let Kassia know if you want your pup to come along! 😁

*This is a fun new service I am trying out that will be available to current pack members only. It is intended to be low-key and will be offered almost as a “drop-in” service as I will not be able to commit to a weekly Saturday schedule. It will be a private/semi-private walk (at most 2 dogs and Jade, who will be handled by my sister) and will be held at different walking locations, giving us a chance to explore some new trails/places that we can’t normally walk as a full pack. Basically, a super-specialized hike/walk 😅 if interested in details/pricing, let me know. As always, transportation will be included and the pups may be gone for 3-4 hours (could be longer) depending on location 🙂 Excited to try this out, especially if the fall weather ever decides to move in 😎

Welcome to Pup ‘N Pals, the place where no matter how big or small, your pet will always have a ball! We are not your typical pet care facility, in fact, we aren’t a pet care facility at all. Instead, we are based out of our cozy home in Bedford, NH where we provide specialized dog hiking/running services as well as small animal boarding services to owners looking for a more personalized kind of pet care experience. Our unique pet care program is centered on the health and well-being of each and every one of our furry clients and because of this, we choose to take a more natural and holistic approach towards the services we offer every day. We believe all pets deserve to live a balanced, enriching life and as a pet care provider, we want to be a part of helping owners fulfill this responsibility. So just how can we help? Read on for a description of our services!

Our weekday Canine Running Club is a unique service that combines the exercise benefits of a traditional dog walking service with the social aspect of a day at daycare into a more enriching and beneficial fitness session. Your dog will enjoy either an on-leash hike with other hand-picked, friendly pups where they can explore local trails and exercise as a pack or a fast-paced run where they can burn off some serious energy. We even pick-up and drop-off your dog so they can hike/run while you are at work! We believe many dogs simply do not receive the right amount of outdoor exercise/stimulation, leading to many types of behavioral problems and even health issues down the line. However, with the correct amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation, many of these issues can disappear on their own, making for happier, healthier dogs and owners. Dogs thrive in an outdoor environment, particularly when they are surrounded by a pack of friendly, well-mannered dogs, and because we pride ourselves on safety and ensuring that all dogs participating in our program are truly appropriate for a social environment, you can be sure your dog is in good company.

Securing overnight accommodations for our dogs and cats is fairly straightforward. A quick Google search for “dog/cat boarding” and it won’t be long before you find a qualified sitter. But what about the little guys, our pet rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc... that also need quality care while their owners are away? Short of asking a neighbor to keep an eye on them or hiring a pet sitter to check in once or twice a day, there aren’t many options. Until now! Our unique small animal boarding service allows your small pet to stay overnight in a quiet and comfortable boarding room in our cozy home. Your pet will receive individualized care and attention from an experienced small animal caretaker as well as plenty of daily playtime/interaction outside of their pen/habitat, so it’s as if they never left home.
