😍Please welcome Buddy into our rescue😍

Buddy’s story is sad..

In October 2016 Buddy was found as a stray & brought to the AHS- Newark shelter.
A month later in November 2016 Buddy was adopted only to be surrendered back to the AHS- Newark shelter by his “owner” this past December 2023.

Two weeks before Christmas, Buddy was back in his cell.

At 10 years old Buddy has been neglected, abandoned & discarded.

Despite his past, Buddy is all smiles … he is friendly, loving, playful, curious & most of all ready to live his golden years in the arms of his new family.

This 70 pound low rider is fully vaccinated, neutered, crate trained & house broken.

Buddy is good with other pets.
He still has a zest for life & loves his walks & playing with his toys.

💜GEORGIE BEFORE & AFTER💜
❣️❣️She is still looking for her forever home❣️❣️

😍Many of you may remember our little girl😍

I pulled her from AHS- Newark in September after she was surrendered by her “owner” & she has been on the road to recovery with me ever since.

She had severe skin issues, mites, internal parasites, worms, ear infections, extreme demodex, malnourished & needed to be spayed.

After healing from all that, she then developed a non-threatening papilloma in her paw & needed a biopsy & some meds.

Because of all your generous donations.. Georgie is completely healed & ready for her forever home.

Georgie is a loving 2 years old, 55 pound, amazing listener, eager to please, playful, cuddly, house broken & crate trained little brindle beauty.

She is being fostered with three other dogs & loves them so much & does great with them.

She does play a bit hard & struggles with boundaries but she does not have a mean bone in her body.. just a lot of puppy energy.

She does have some frustration when seeing other dogs when she is on leash.
She gets super excited & wants to play & needs an experienced handler.
She would benefit from training (which I am doing with her currently) & a fenced in yard.

Georgie has come so far.. please adopt this gorgeous girl & give her happily ever after💕💕

There are truly no words to express the emotion we have when we see how amazing Gabby is doing in her forever home🙏🏻

Found scared, alone, homeless & literally broken so badly she had to get her leg amputated💔

We knew Gabby needed a very special family to help her learn to love♥️

Without this AMAZING family… Gabby would not be where she is today❤️‍🩹

Fostering, fostering to adopt & adopting all these broken babies in our rescue is nothing short of a miracle🙏🏻

Gabby is the perfect dog to show everyone what it truly takes to “rescue”.

We are forever grateful for all the families who give these dogs not even a second chance but their only chance at a happy life🙌🏻

Sweet Zane Needs a Fospice Home 🐾💔

On Friday, we welcomed sweet Zane into our care, knowing he had a grade 3 heart murmur. Yesterday, our vet saw him, and by sheer luck, we were able to get him an echocardiogram today.

Sadly, Zane has been diagnosed with Subaortic Stenosis, a serious condition that can lead to sudden death or congestive heart failure. Despite this heartbreaking news, Zane remains the sweetest nugget who deserves a loving, stress-free environment for whatever time he has left.

🏡 We need to urgently place him in a fospice home.
• The kennel is far too stressful for a dog in his condition.
• We will provide everything needed for his care.
• A home with other pets is okay, as long as he has his own space.

Zane will start medication right away. He’s an absolute sweetheart and deserves a comfy, loving home to spend his days.

🧡Pumpkin is up for adoption🧡
❣️❣️SHELTER STAFF FAVORITE❣️❣️

Pumpkin was found as a stray in rural South Carolina with her bestie Squash (also up for adoption).

Pumpkin was put on the “urgent” list due to over crowding & was in danger of loosing her life💔

We stepped in & pulled this sweet girl & she is currently safe & happy in her foster home along with Squash.

Pumpkin is playful, energetic & goofy.
She loves other dogs & is a very confident little girl.

Pumpkin is about 8 months, 41 pounds, fully vetted, spayed, crate trained & house broken.

She is such a lovely perfect dog for any family.

Squash was found as a stray & was brought to an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina along with his buddy Pumpkin (also up for adoption).

He was in danger of loosing his life due to kennel space, so we pulled him into our rescue so he could have a chance at a happy life🙏🏻

Squash is being fostered with other dogs & his buddy Pumpkin (also up for adoption) & is doing great!!!

Squash is a beautiful 53 pound brindle mix. He is about 8 months old, fully vaccinated, neutered, crate trained & house broken.

He would thrive in an active home, he loves running & romping with his doggie friends.
He loves people & is eager to please his owner.

Squash is something special & would make any home a better place.

😍💜MEET JENKINS💜😍

This sugar faced boy found himself in an over crowded shelter & needed a rescue to give him a second chance🙏🏻

Jenkins is extremely malnourished, has a little arthritis in his bones but is safe & resting easy with his foster family🙌🏻

This sweet soul is a healthy & happy 10 years old, seems to be housebroken, loves to relax on his dog bed🥰

He definitely gravitates to his owner & thrives with people by his side.🤍

Jenkins is such a special boy & is ready to find happiness in his golden years.

💜GEORGIE PUPDATE💜

We got her biopsy back it confirmed she has a cutaneous viral papilloma.

Dr Marks thinks because her skin & paws were so neglected & damaged from years of abuse.. her immune system wasn’t strong enough to fight this virus off at this time.

She has been on meds for several weeks & will continue with them for several more but Dr Marks is confident that this will go away on its own & from what we saw yesterday, her paw is healing nicely🙏🏻

Georgie has come so far & getting everything she needs to set her up for a healthy & happy life🤍

Georgie is looking for her forever home & is just so deserving of a second chance🙌🏻

January 9th will mark 8 years since I lost my brother Bryan.
🙏🏻

In honor of him is having an evening to remember my brother’s legacy with proceeds going to my rescue dogs.
