Hi yall! Meet Jordon!

My name is Jordon Koch and I am a 4th year veterinary student at Texas Tech. I was born and raised in the Victoria, TX area. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with my bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences (BIMS) and a minor in business management. I have worked as a technician in multiple small and mixed animal practices throughout Victoria and the surrounding areas. While at TTU SVM, I was actively involved in multiple organizations including Wildlife Medicine Club, VBMA (Veterinary Business Management Association), and CAC (Companion Animal Club). Post-graduation I plan to join a mixed animal practice in South Texas. I am excited to be rotating through South Texas Veterinary Clinic in Beeville and look forward to expanding on my knowledge and skills.

Meet one of our students, Tyler!

My name is Tyler Grahmann and I am a 4th year veterinary student at Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from the small farming and ranching community of Hallettsville, Texas, I grew up raising cattle and hay with my family. I attended Texas A&M where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science which then led me to pursue my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at TTU SVM. During my time here, I have helped to startup a few of our school’s clubs and chapters. I was a founding officer of the Wildlife Medicine Club and Veterinary Business Management Association Chapter. Much of my clinical and personal experience has revolved around working with cattle—cow-calf-producers primarily. Post-graduation I plan to stay in the south Texas region as a mixed-animal practitioner. Outside of veterinary medicine I can be found enjoying the great outdoors with my friends and family. I am excited to spend the next 4-weeks living and learning in Beeville, Texas!

Remember, our pets can't advocate for themselves so it's up to us as pet owners to be their voice and care for them! A lot goes into being a pet owner, including offering proper nutrition, access to regular veterinary care, physical and mental stimulation and of course, lots of love!
