Hi, I’m Sue!

I started Sir Barks-A-Lot Homemade Dog Treats because I adore my dogs, I’m obsessed with food, and I love to bake!

My happy place is in my kitchen with my dogs close by. And BELIEVE ME, they are always VERY close by when I’m making dog treats! Sir Barks is truly a family operation; I’m the creator and baker, I have my three “taste testers” Peanut (a.k.a. Sir Barks), Penny and Willow, and my husband Peter does our packaging and a bunch of other stuff that I don’t want to do!!

Our dog treats are made with real ingredients and no preservatives. I believe in making treats that are healthy for dogs – I’m not a vet, and I’m certainly not trained in any way in dog food science. I simply apply my straight forward ways of how and what I’m comfortable feeding my three dogs. These three heartbeats at my feet, well, they are my fur children in every way.

Just finished a baking session of our Maple Bacon Dog Donuts! I use a high quality bacon, spelt flour, a hint of local maple syrup. Highly rated by my favorite creatures on Earth! 🐾🐾🐾
