How excited are you to learn Taylor Rolan is this year's state fair queen? Not only does she follow in last year's queen, Kaitlyn Maria, but also her mother, Teri, who won in 2001. There's lots of news in this week's paper and online at news-bulletin.com.

Beyond proud of our girls is an understatement!! Congratulations to Taylor and Teri for becoming a mother-daughter duo for holding the State Fair Crown. Kaitlyn did an amazing job reigning! Both girls were from Valencia County and we couldn’t be more proud of them!!! Our younger girls are truly looking up to you and your accomplishments thus far. Keep on reaching for the stars!!

Very proud of you 2025 New Mexico State Fair Queen Kaitlyn Maria.

Kaitlyn Maria became one of the first Navajo women crowned New Mexico State Fair Rodeo Queen, proving strength in the saddle and pride in her community.

Coronation will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at the Valencia County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo in Belen.
