🔔Breaking news: The equine industry is allowed to make money.

Somewhere along the way, people decided that if you work with horses, you should do it for the love—not for a living. Passion required. Profit forbidden. Burnout applauded.

The second someone breeds, trains, rehomes, shoes, or provides professional services and charges accordingly, the outrage starts. Yet no one questions profit in football, motorsports, or any other sport.

Horses are not a magical exception.

This is a high-cost, high-risk, high-skill industry. Feed, vet care, facilities, insurance, education, and equipment don’t run on good intentions.

Breeders don’t owe cheap horses.
Trainers don’t owe unlimited time.
Professionals don’t owe discounts “for the horse.”

If you want ethical breeding, correct training, and responsible horsemanship, the people doing the work have to stay in business.

Passion doesn’t pay vet bills.
Exposure isn’t currency.

The equine world isn’t a charity.
It’s an industry—and it’s allowed to operate like one.

We welcomed this fine young mare to our herd this morning and couldn’t be more excited to have her . Ginger brings some of the Leon Oliver breeding thru her dam and some fine outcross breeding thru her sires lines and she has the color to boot!!
