Taking new clients for 2025! Welcoming in the new year!
As groomers, it is our job to make your pets comfortable and beautiful. But it is also our job to be advocates for pets. We are a shop that believes in humanity over vanity. If your pup comes in with mats that cannot be removed humanely, we will go shorter. We will do best by your pet, while also trying to please you with an amazing groom. Please do not ask us for miracles of long coats when you have not kept the grooming maintained on a regular schedule.
Our jobs are hard enough. We continue working even when we are being bitten, peed on, pooped on, scratched, and wounded. We look fangs in the face and try to calm them. We take the growls and sing with them. We are kind and patient and always loving.
Yet we do this with no shaming. We are just glad you brought them to us. We are glad we can make their lives more comfortable and beautiful.
So just remember that your groomer works hard. I am so grateful for our family of groomers here at Paws & Claws Pet Grooming in Belfast Maine. And to all the groomers out there being advocates for the pets of the world, inspite of the struggles, YOU rock! YOU are amazing! You are MAGICAL! 🧙 🔮

We are lucky enough to have Kristyn working for us at the Spa as well as our Boarding Kennel in Northport. She is spicy, funny, and a beautiful soul! She is Adrienne’s right hand lady. Always there to help, cuddle, bathe, and assist in all our shop needs. At the kennel, she keeps the guests clean, fed, cared for, and safe. We appreciate Kristyn so much!

Adrienne is a master groomer. She is a bright light on a dreary day! She has been with our shop the longest. She’s absolutely amazing. From doodles, to poodles, to Shih Tzu’s, she does it all. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment with her, we know you’ll love her just as much as we do.

Nicole is the voice of our shop. The first face you see when you walk in our door.
If you call the shop, she is the voice you chat with. She keeps the shop running tip top and organized.
We appreciate all she does. It’s not an easy job, but she is amazing!

Mina is a free spirited adventurous lady. She is quiet, yet mighty. She finds joy in working with animals and animals respond to her in kind. She excels in the high and tight type cuts!
