Today is National Responsible Dog Ownership Day! In honor of this, we have decided to share some of the things that make a responsible dog owner along with some resources to do so!

Spaying and neutering your pets! Studies have shown that spaying and neutering dogs can decrease the risk of specific cancers and infections. S/N also prevents any unwanted litters and reduces pet overpopulation.

Fear free training! Here at White Willow, we use a fear free approach when handling dogs. Several studies have shown that fear free tactics are more effective and stronger long term. Fear free training will also boost your dogs confidence and the relationship between yourself and your dog.
