Will be gearing up for bull sale season. Offering several virgin heifers, pairs, and heavy bred heifers, in addition to the bulls, on our February 25th sale.
Busch Light Cattle Call
Nebraskans call their cattle in by popping a tab on a Busch Light.
The cows know what real beer is made of. 😉
A little too close for comfort on Saturday. We have very dry conditions right now and the winds have been relentless. If you look at about half way thru, you can see fire tornadoes spinning up.
All SOLD.
10 heavy bred cows, preg checked, March calving, looking for a new home. Please call Randy at 308-550-0583 for more information.
3rd-5th calvers.
After a long 45-50 days, we’re wrapping up calving. So these girls need a new labor and delivery farm. 😁
Heifers rushing to our truck to be spoiled.
Bringing heifers off stocks today. I like that we’ll have them home on sale day, February 27th because it gives cattlemen an opportunity to look through our genetics, if they wish.
We also have baby calves everywhere and should be about finished up on sale day.
Let us help you with your breeding decisions by showing you ours.
The Good Life
Priceless sunset.
This is what we look forward to in the evenings as we wind down for the day.
One of our favorite heifers, we purchased from Herbster last spring.
A SAV Pedigree daughter out of a Herbster Sportsman X Herbster Blackbird dam.
She’s a pretty neat gal.
Goats massaging the bulls
Niche Market? The goats from Kracked Out Kikos are giving our bulls a back massage and they seem to love it!
UPDATE: SOLD! Going to keep video up so folks can see these Jet Black Progeny. They’re exceptional.
Lot 4 of our sale was returned by buyer. He wasn’t going to work for his operation.
We have him live covering a couple of our favorite cows at moment but he’s available again.
If you’re interested, please contact Bob @308-750-5636
He’s an interesting fella. Top 1% for WW (94), YW (162), CW, $B, $C.
Sure to make some heavy gaining calves. I’ve never seen a sire group wean off like these Jet Black calves have.
Chopped Rye. Going to make some nice silage when we wean. Bill is coming over and throwing down some fertilizer tonight before tomorrow’s predicted rain.
Our Sirloins and New York Strips are enjoying a little Koe Wetzel on this rainy day.
