Due to unexpected family emergencies, we will not have a doctor on staff Friday afternoon and will be closing the office at 12:30pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. For urgent needs and emergencies, please utilize the resources below.
Please be sure to pick up all prescriptions and food prior to 12:30pm to ensure you have plenty over the weekend.
The boarding department will be open normal hours.

Alex and I were really lucky to go see some old friends and make some new ones in Puerto Morales, Mexico. Dr Jeff Young and planned pethood international do so much in providing support and mentorship that helps so many people to help care for their animals and without them many could not afford to do so. Carlos and his team are so hospitable, it was great to work alongside such passionate and talented people !

Exciting news that some of you may have noticed! We are adding to the next generation of the Village Pet family soon! 🩷

With this it may have seemed harder to make an appointment lately. On top of being busy, we are having to change scheduling for a short while. Dr. Gregory will be out on maternity leave soon, so we will have day to day availability for her appointment slots until she is gone. Then, we will be back to full capacity sometime late this year. Scheduling may look different but we are working hard to make sure all of your fur babies are taken care of. Please bear with us through the next few months.

It was an amazing weekend at LSU Vet school alumni weekend. Year 2000! It’s crazy how time flies! It was such an honor and chance of a lifetime to be able to care for Mike V! It was even more amazing that Rebecca was able to experience it with me! So it was so awesome to have the family meet my mentor and professor Dr Baker and such a thrill to get to know Mike VII! Oh my gosh what an incredible animal and he was so sweet, thank goodness!
