✨🐾 What an incredible day at Gold Star Kennel for Scent Work today! 🐾✨

It was a cold dreary day in Ohio … but the afternoon was filled with excitement as our furry friends took to the challenge! 🎉

Ford and Fairah both took their very first steps into the ring, and they did not disappoint!
Ford snagged a Level 1 Q, while Skyleo impressed everyone with a Level 2 Q, and oh my goodness, Soul soared with a Level 3 Q! 🌟 I was absolutely thrilled with Fairah, who achieved 2 Q’s in Level 1—every achievement with her is extra special to me. We’ve come a long way, and she truly shined today! ❤️‍🔥 (Q=Qualified)

The day couldn’t have gone smoother, even with a little twist! 🌀 With the original judge unavailable, Libby Smith and Nikki Kraynick stepped in and did an amazing job! 🙌🤎
Many Thanks to Cosmic K-9 & Gold Star Kennel and all the ‘behind the scenes’ crew for all the work that goes into hosting this 3-day event!

To celebrate the pups’ achievements, we stopped at Ice Cream Island for a sweet treat before heading back home! 🍦😋

We are pleased to announce that our 6:00 PM Christmas Puppy Manners Class is currently full. Due to high demand, we are considering offering an additional session on a different evening, contingent upon interest. For those unable to commit to a full 4-week session, we are exploring the possibility of hosting a Christmas Manners Workshop. This would be a one-time, informational and interactive group class for all ages designed to enhance your Christmas experience with your puppy. If this is something you would like to do, please contact us so that we can make a list of those who are interested.

STAR PUPPY Class Week #5 Recap!
Wow, what an exciting evening we had in class last night! I took so many pictures - I can’t get them all in one post! This will be 1 of 2!

Our adorable pups are making incredible strides, and it was such a joy to watch them build their confidence through a series of fun and engaging activities.

We kicked things off with some adventurous climbing exercises using tables and ladders. It was heartwarming to see our fur babies overcome their initial hesitations and tackle these challenges like pros! Their determination truly shone through, and it was clear that everyone was having a blast.

Next, we focused on balance and coordination. The pups showed off their newfound skills as they navigated various obstacles, proving that with a little encouragement, they can achieve anything! It was a great opportunity for them to learn how to control their movements while boosting their confidence.

Of course, we also worked on proper greetings. It's essential for our pups to learn how to interact politely with both humans and fellow canine classmates. We practiced calm introductions and positive reinforcement, ensuring that each encounter was a happy and rewarding experience.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there—next week is graduation! 🎓 We’ll be holding the STAR Puppy Testing and the AKC Puppy Manners assessment. It’s the perfect opportunity for our pups to showcase everything they’ve learned throughout the course. We can’t wait to celebrate their achievements and watch them shine!

…. it was a night filled with laughter, learning, and lots of tail wags! We can’t wait to see everyone back next week for this special milestone.

Last night at PAWZ IN TIME, LLC / HeartSoul Dog Training we all had a truly unforgettable evening as we dove into our super fun rodeo class! The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as we embarked on a playful pretend trial that had everyone grinning from ear to ear.

Dogs and their humans alike were in high spirits, sharing lots of laughs and wagging tails as we navigated through the challenges. It was heartwarming to see the bond between the participants grow stronger with every playful moment. The camaraderie in the room was extra special, and it was clear that everyone was having an absolute blast.

A massive thank you to Linda Wickham for running the class with such enthusiasm. Your dedication and passion are inspiring, and we truly appreciate all the effort you put into making the evening so special. We can’t express our gratitude enough for creating such a fun and welcoming environment. 🥰♥️🐾🐾♥️🥰

🐾✨Canine Massage Class✨🐾
at PAWZ IN TIME, LLC / HeartSoul Dog Training with Becky Brandenburg /Brandenburg Massage Therapy!

Just a couple of weekends ago, we hosted an incredible massage class for dog owner, led by the talented Becky from Brandenburg Massage, and it was nothing short of magical! After our last session filled up so quickly, we knew we had to offer another opportunity for dog owners to learn the art of canine massage.

The atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm as a fantastic group of dog lovers gathered to deepen their understanding of massage techniques tailored specifically for their furry companions. The session was not only informative but also incredibly engaging, with participants asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own experiences. It was clear that everyone was eager to connect with their pets on a new level.

One of the highlights of the class was the calming meditation led by Becky at the end of the session. It was a heartwarming moment where everyone took a”‘pawz’ in time”, closed their eyes, and connected with their dogs in a serene environment. The gentle sounds of wagging tails and soft breaths filled the air as participants embraced the tranquility of the moment.

But the fun didn’t stop there! After the enlightening session, we moved everyone to our cozy lounge area where we treated everyone to a mouthwatering lunch. Attendees enjoyed smoked pulled pork, green beans, crunchy coleslaw, and rich hickory/apple smoked Philadelphia cream cheese. For dessert, we had a delightful pumpkin roll and an apple cake, not to mention a refreshing cranberry salad that perfectly rounded off the meal.

The combination of learning, bonding, and delicious food created an unforgettable experience for both the dogs and their humans. We can’t thank Becky enough for sharing her expertise and passion for canine wellness, and for graciously using our building to hold the canine massage class.

As the rain continues to fall, I feel a sense of peace wash over me. There’s no rush, no agenda—just the gentle sound of rain, the warmth of my cozy space, and the quiet companionship of my dogs. Just for today!
Today is a reminder that sometimes, the best moments are found in stillness, creativity, and the bond we share with our furry friends.

With a steaming cup of pumpkin coffee in hand and the gentle hum of rain in the background, I settle into my favorite nook, ready to dive into some much-needed photo editing!

Here’s to rainy days, cozy corners, and the joy of capturing life’s fleeting moments. With my dogs by my side and a world of memories to explore, I couldn’t ask for a better way to spend the day.

This class is suitable for puppies aged 8 weeks to 6 months . All breeds are welcome! * PUPPIES MUST HAVE PROOF OF AT LEAST TWO SETS OF PUPPY VACCINES.
