Get them Friday at the Bellaire Farmers Market - Michigan Or you can request we hold one for you for pick up any time after the market! DON"T MISS THESE!!!! We will have samples at the market! Bright and early Leli was creating today, these and everything else she makes this week will be at the Bellaire Farmers Market - Michigan on Friday! But what is it? Glad you asked.....KEY LIME MARSHMALLOWS!!!!! They are so tangy and delicious! Photos of some of the steps of the process are in the comments and as you can see it's very involved! So proud of Leli for tackling this!

As you all know we sadly lost most of our flock over the winter. Well Happy Mother's Day to me, Leli and I brought home 45 sixish week old littles yesterday! They were successfully introduced to the remaining Ladies overnight and everyone is mingling well this morning! That was the good news, now the maybe not quite so good but still good news is that they won't be laying until 14 weeks at the absolute earliest :x. But once they are, The Egg Shack will be loaded up again!
Also please excuse our coop floor this was JUST after opening the door this morning and it hasn't been scrapped yet :x

Unfortunately we had something get into our coop and purge all but 8 of our oldest Ladies. We have since plugged up the breach, reinforced any weak spots we could perceive and will be getting more 'Lil Ladies' when it gets a tad bit warmer, but sadly our egg production will be on hiatus until the littles start laying (usually about 18-22 weeks from their hatching). We will keep everyone updated on that front as well as Leli's Snack Shack, Farmers Market, and some other things we're working on!

Leli has been hard at work over these last few cold and snowy weeks getting new things ready for the Farmers Market! I will be at the Winter Farmers Market with her goodies starting in March, and then all of the summer. Sneak peak at some of the things she's made. The Red Velvet and Butter Pecan cookies are absolutely AMAZING!!! And all we can say is....S'more Cinnamon Rolls......Heavenly

Located just outside of beautiful Bellaire Michigan, we offer fresh chicken eggs and humanly raised Meat Chickens, along with veggies grown using organic practices.
