Who remembers this big baby?? “Hank” ( formerly “Tank”) was adopted just over a year ago in December 2023 after being with us for over a year. He is doing fantastic in his home and is such a good boy. He comes by to see his often, but we wanted to share this update for those who remember him with us ♥️

Update, she has a home!

This pups is not at Help From My Friends' Pet Crisis Center but you must fill out their pre-adoption application if interested. Her owner can no longer care for her and the other dog in the home is bullying her. She is good with farm animals, cats and other dogs.

ON THE LOOSE!!!

We have had reports of a possible shepherd mix in the area of Crystal Beach Rd and Fowler Lane, Rapid City. We are told the dog is golden colored with a black muzzle, wearing a collar and dragging a leash. A trap has been set but if anyone is seeing this dog please call us with the location it’s been seen, 231-533-6421. A photo would also help and can be emailed to [email protected]

Meet “Reese,” our newest adoptable pup! He is about 3 years old and we think he is a lab mix. He would do best in a home as the only pet and with older kids. He does do ok with other dogs, it seems he would prefer a more submissive dog that will not challenge him. Dog meets required. He loves fetch, tug of war and running. Over the weekend “Kali” got to play with another one of the dogs we have at the shelter, “Chase.” “Kali” loves other dogs, as you can see. “Chase”is not available yet, as he is still learning to trust people, but boy does he love other dogs. “Kali” is available and would love a home with another dog she can romp around with. We have many special cats needing a home but these two are needing someone with patience and understanding. They been with us for a few months and “Squash” the orange boy has just started to come out of his shell. He likes to snuggle under blankets but also loves to be pet. He will roll around and give you belly. He is good with other cats, and “Cauliflower” the white one is his buddy. They play and roll around together and we think they would do best together. They need a home with no dogs or kids. Update, she is home!!!!

LOST!!!

Willow is missing from Kidder/Murphy, last seen last night at Kidder/Old State. She has on a collar with tags and most likely will not come to anyone. Please call us if she is seen 231-533-6421.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Willow (f) is home safe & sound after 1 days, 12 hours :)

She was four miles from where I live, spent two nights in this stuff and lived and was VERY happy to see me. Again, thanks to all who helped!"

3 horses wearing blankets, Central Lake off of Old State Rd in the area of Clark. Caller was not sure exactly where they were but said they saw a sign for Clark St. if these are your horses or you have any owner information, please call dispatch at 231-533-8627
